Located on the southern side of the Isle of Wight close to the seafront on the outskirts of Ventnor and Bonchurch, “Suntrap” can be found right in the heart of the famous Undercliff, much of which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this stylish holiday home can comfortably accommodate up to six guests across three bedrooms and is ideal for families.
The bungalow, comes with an allocated parking space for one car and has its own garden area to the front . The site’s communal open green is extensive and slopes upwards towards the cliff edge, where great views of the English Channel and St Boniface Down can be enjoyed.

LOCATION:

Bonchurch lies just to the east of Ventnor and is renowned for its historic literary connections, this picturesque village gained huge popularity in the Victorian era when the area's appealing microclimate combined with the dramatic southerly coastline led there to be many fine houses and villas built, with many renowned writers of the era such as Dickens and Swinburne frequenting the area. The coastal village retains a popular pub and the 11th Century church and footpaths provide access to various bays and excellent coastal walks.

Nearby Ventnor is a traditional Victorian seaside town, which has a fabulous range of boutique shops and fine eateries, Ventnor is renowned for its golden beach and bustling arts scene with the Isle of Wight’s award-winning Ventnor Fringe Festival that takes place every summer, and the Ventnor Botanical Gardens which has over 23 acres of wide-open spaces containing rare, subtropical plants and trees which flourish in the unique microclimate enjoyed on the south coast of the island. Just a short drive from the property are the bustling seaside towns of Shanklin and Sandown, providing miles of glorious sandy beaches and entertainment for the whole family.

ACCOMMODATION:

ONE LEVEL - BUNGALOW
Open plan living space:
Kitchen diner: breakfast bar with stools, induction hob, electric double oven, microwave, fridge freezer with ice dispenser, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, wine cooler and dining table and chairs
Lounge: corner sofa, armchair, Smart TV, door leading to garden and communal grounds
Bedroom 1: king size bed, Freeview TV, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and en-suite
En-suite: shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin
Bedroom 2: king size bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinets and leading to bedroom 3
Bedroom 3: (accessed via bedroom 2) 3ft single bed with pull out / trundle bed beneath bedside cabinet
Shower room: shower cubicle, toilet, wash basin, heated towel rail and washing machine

OUTSIDE
There is a garden area at the front of the property, with a table and bench seating, along with communal grounds and sea views
The parking in the site car park is roughly 200 metres away from the property
There are also 3 visitors parking spaces, available on a first come first served basis

ADDITIONAL CHARGES / SERVICES:

PLEASE NOTE: a pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit of £150 will be required before arrival at the property. No money will be taken, unless any damage is reported at the property within 14 days of your departure.

There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car, unless agreed prior with the owner of the property. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost. OR

There is a strict no smoking/vaping policy, inside all our properties.

No pets are allowed at this property

Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and cot linen as necessary.

Please be aware there is a steep incline from the entrance of the site, down to the car park and bungalow.

There is a travel cot and highchair available on request.

Please be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival

A breach of the above rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

We had four glorious days and nights at Suntrap. The two bed bungalow situated in Ventnor has everything you need for a great family holiday. The place was clean with two shower rooms. We had a great mini break and would recommend to friends and family.

We had a wonderful time as a family
We had a wonderful time as a family. Everything was perfect for a holiday cabin was modern. Also, I really liked that binoculars were present at the property. The view was amazing, and the front garden really helped with the kids' playing area. We had to change our ferry dates, and even though we checked out, they were still helpful in coordinating our return dates. I will definitely be coming back.

We had a fantastic stay at Suntrap, it is in a beautiful location which is very quiet and away from any hustle and bustle. Lovely views at the top and space for children to play. The cottage was very clean and tidy, comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. Lots of space for food in the fridge freezer and wardrobe space for clothes. Also a washing machine which is handy. A lovely little hideaway to get away from it all and relax. We really appreciated all the little goodies left for us too x

Relaxing Suntrap
We had four glorious days and nights at Suntrap. The two bed bungalow situated in Ventor has everything you need for a great family holiday. We are a family of four but I reckon you could squeeze in two more if required. The place was clean with two shower rooms. The water pressure in one was very low and the shower water did not run away. So we stuck with using the one bathroom. That aside, we had a great mini break and would recommend to friends and family.
