A ground-floor apartment which sleeps 2 people. This is part of a sensitively renovated 17th-century farmhouse in Chianti. The farmhouse has been divided into 4 apartments which can be booked individually or all together for larger groups. It makes an ideal base, to explore the delights of southern Tuscany or simply to unwind and relax.
The open-plan living area retains an attractive high brick arch and is furnished with a sofa, a flat-screen TV, a dining table for 4 people and a neat, fitted kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven and fridge/freezer. A glass door leads out to a private terrace, with a table and chairs where guests can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of local wine.
There are communal gardens with a shared swimming pool (open from May to the mid of October) which has sun loungers and parasols close by. Children will enjoy the outdoor playground and there is also table football close by. There is a garden kitchen and BBQ for meals al fresco, which guests can enjoy at a shaded table close by.

Bedroom: The master bedroom has a wrought-iron double bed, a dressing table and an antique wardrobe.
Extra: An additional single bed can be added in the living room at €10/day

Location
Tuscany is known throughout the world for its stunning countryside, beautiful cities and delicious cuisine. This farmhouse allows guests to enjoy all of it. Set in the hills of Crete Senesi, halfway between Siena (40 minutes), famous for its Il Campo square, where the Palio horse race takes place every July and August, and Pienza (45 minutes), which is well worth a visit for its Renaissance palaces, as well as its famous Pecorino cheese.
Wine lovers should not miss the town of Montalcino (40 minutes) where you can taste and buy the famous Brunello di Montalcino wine directly from the producers.
For pure relaxation visit the thermal springs at Rapolano Terme and indulge in a day of spa treatments.
There are excellent restaurants throughout the region, but if guests are keen to cook for themselves, the local markets are not to be missed. Asciano (5 minutes) has a weekly market every Monday.
The closest airports are Perugia, 1 hour and 15 minutes away and Florence, 1 hour 30 minutes. Please note that the pool is open from the 1st of May 2024 to the 15th of October 2024
