This rural retreat is just idyllic. A path takes you from the parking area and through the trees to the tucked away hillside setting and up some steps.
On the inside there’s a delightful open-plan living space which has been thoughtfully designed. There’s a comfortable, hand-crafted, kingsize bed where you can start the day by waking up to the gorgeous view on offer. There is also a cosy wood burner for those out-of-season escapes. The kitchen area is equipped with all of your ‘glamping’ needs including a mini cooker with two-ring hob, a fridge with icebox and of course the all-important kettle! There’s also a spacious shower room complete with a double shower cubicle.
If you’re looking for a tranquil haven, a place to escape the modern world and technology, then this is the place for you! The wide deck boasts a luxurious hot tub from where the superb countryside views can be enjoyed by day, and during the dark nights when the starry sky is in all its glory! There are 51 acres of farmland with a river for you to enjoy, and just a 10-minute stroll away is the friendly local pub where you can enjoy a drink or an evening meal (plus a quick Wi-Fi fix if you really need to!). They even serve breakfast. Just give them a call the day before to book a table and a hearty fry-up will be waiting you in the morning!
If you’re after some retail therapy, the market town of South Molton is just under 3 miles away with independent shops, as well as a country market every Thursday and Saturday morning with up to 70 local produce and artisan stalls. A perfect place to pick up supplies (and treats!) before returning to your idyllic retreat.
The property is located under 10 miles from Exmoor National Park and just 14 miles from the regional capital town of Barnstaple, with its many cafés and restaurants, Queens Theatre, multi-screen cinema, leisure centre with swimming pool, a purpose-built tennis centre with indoor and outdoor courts, and an indoor trampoline centre.
