Nestled among the vineyards, in the heart of Dolenjska, this new and modernly equipped Vineyard Cottage offers you the luxury of living in the embrace of nature and Dolenje hills. In the surrounding area, enjoy cycling and hiking to the neighbouring hill Debenec, a popular tourist spot for hikers. You can also just take a walk in the nearby forest and pick mushrooms, or simply stay back and enjoy the many amenities for your pleasure and enjoyment.

Built exclusively from wood, the rental offers a vacation for up to 4 people and is fully equipped for longer stays and activities at or outside of it. At the retreat, find books, sports equipment for Bocce and badminton, magazines and board games to brighten up your day. An outdoor wooden swing, a fire pit for picnics and an outdoor shower are also available to fully immerse in the tranquil surroundings. Additionally, guests have access to a jacuzzi, which can be placed in the more intimate interior spaces or outside on request.

Additionally, it features underfloor heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, microwave, toaster and fridge for your use.

Please note that for all guests who have booked 3 nights or more, part of the regular offer includes wine tasting in the nearby Castle Wine Cellar, which, like the entire plot also includes the Vinska Castle Granary and was once the property of Trebanj Castle and its owners. It is also possible to buy bottled local wines, which you can enjoy on the terrace of the Vinska Grajska Kašča during romantic sunsets, with a view of the green nature and the beautiful surrounding vineyards.

Location

In the idyllic surroundings, guests can delight in cycling and hiking adventures to the nearby Debenec Hill, a beloved destination for hikers. The Plaz hut, open from Thursday to Sunday, offers a refreshing stop before the return hike. Nature enthusiasts can also enjoy leisurely walks in the nearby forest, perfect for mushroom foraging. Just a short 5-10 minute drive away lies Ranch Aladin, a zoo park paradise for children, featuring exotic animals and playgrounds. Accessible by foot within an hour, or by bike or car in no time, it promises a day of family fun.

Within a 10-15 minute drive, guests can reach Mirna and Trebnje, where the nearest shops and the highway await. Art aficionados will find solace in the Fine Art Gallery in Trebnje, a hub of naive art in Slovenia. Housing works of amateur and self-made artists, the gallery hosts permanent and temporary exhibitions, along with events like the annual Camp of Self-made Artists in June. Classical music enthusiasts can attend free concerts by renowned musicians and students from the Trebnje School of Music.

The nearest international airport in Ljubljana is just a 45-minute drive from the cottage.
