The apartment is located in Alba, capital of the Langhe and Roero area. Known as "Alba Pompeia" in Roman times, the city was the birthplace of the emperor Elvio Pertinace. Also called "The city of a hundred towers" Alba and is today one of the main centers of international food and wine tourism. Home of the International Alba White Truffle Fair, in 2017 it was recognized by UNESCO as a Creative City for Gastronomy.
The "Alba Pompeia" apartment is located in one of the two twin buildings built in the 1950s on the site of the city's ancient furnace. Considering Alba's modern towers, they are a five-minute walk from the historic center. The décor and furnishings are cared for down to the smallest detail: the classic layout is happily combined with the modern design of the furnishings. The dominant colors are shades of gray, with boiseries and wallpapers to enrich the rooms.
