Terrific location overlooking the skiers' plaza - just look out the front window to check on lift queues! We stayed here from Christmas to New Year, and had a fabulous holiday. The apartment is roomy, two queen bedrooms, a mezzanine with sofa bed and two bathrooms. Kitchen well appointed and enough utensils, pots, pans etc to cook for the family. Convenient ski storage in the corridor outside the apartment.
Downstairs on the corner of the building is a good coffee shop. Easy access to everything in the village - either down the stairs to the front of the building, or via a lift along a corridor. If the weather is really awful you wouldn't even need to go outside as the corridor to the lift also connects with a couple of restaurants (didn't try these, but the Japanese was certainly busy every night. We did try the takeaway pizza from downstairs and it meet with approval from everyone - with leftovers.). Walk to either of the two supermarkets in the village.
Being able to use the Hilton's gym, pool and spa is a nice add-on to the apartment rental. Again, you don't need to leave the building to access these.
Kate, the owner, was very accommodating, easy to deal with and responded quickly to our queries pre-arrival. She checked in to make sure everything was OK once we arrived.
All the Whistler accommodation is expensive at the time we were there. The location and amenities for the price felt like this was a better deal than most (and certainly much better for us than staying in a hotel where we couldn't self-cater and continuously feed teenagers and hungry skiers!).
Thanks for a wonderful holiday.
