Denne koselige single story hjemmet har 2 soverom med fullt bad pluss et soverom / den (The Art Room) med 1/2 bad. Master: King size-seng med havutsikt; Andre soverom: 2 tvillinger, "Art Room" har en tvilling og 1/2 bad. Fantastisk utsikt fra stue, soverom, kjøkken, spisestue og kunstrom. Slapp av ved vedbrann (tremor naturen på sitt beste uavhengig av været. Åpen planløsning. Praktfullt innredet hjemme og fullt utstyrt kjøkken. Nydelig strandpromenade og strandstoler. Hyggelig gassgrill for å grille opp middag (kanskje litt fersk fisk ??) Strand leker. Cement trinnene fra den frodige plenen rett ned til vår flate sandstrand perfekt for lange turer, hunder, barn, sandkastler, dragefly, surfing, rockjakt, eller bare å lese en bok eller se hvaler, sel og sjøløver, pelikaner og shorebirds av alle slag. . Du trenger bare å ta med klærne og hva du vil spise .. Vi tar vare på resten. Vaskemaskin / tørketrommel og garasje. Ekstra kjøleskap i garasjen for lengre opphold. Ny flatskjerm-TV. WiFi forutsatt.

A little slice of heaven: Sometimes the best vacations come from unexpected changes in plans. After our original rental in Waldport fell through at the last minute, we booked Ed & Gloria's Oceanfront and quickly realized everything had worked out exactly as it should have. Yachats is a little slice of heaven that we didn't even know existed, and this home turned out to be the perfect place to experience it.The location is incredible. The 804 Trail is practically in the backyard. Walk down to the beach, look to your left, and you'll find the wooden stairs leading up to one of the most beautiful coastal trails we've ever explored. We visited it more than once because the views were unforgettable.We also enjoyed the Ya'Xaik Trail, the Amanda Trail, and Cape Perpetua, which is only a few miles away. Every day brought a new adventure, and Yachats proved to be the perfect home base for exploring the Central Oregon coast.The house itself is older but full of character, with charming vintage touches throughout. It was comfortable, cozy, and a wonderful place to return to after a day of exploring. The little extras made a big difference: great water pressure, a real hairdryer, a standalone washer and dryer, a slop sink, a gas grill, lawn chairs, and even beach toys for the kiddos! Ocean Odyssey was also fantastic, answering our questions quickly and always with kindness. We absolutely fell in love with Yachats and would happily stay here again.

Amazing beach property with views for days. We felt perfectly at home. Kitchen is stocked to cook for the family, or get yourself some fish and chips from near by Luna Sea!We are thankful for Ed and Gloria’s helping to create unforgettable memories.

Gem on the coast. Felt good from the moment we walked in. This is a very well-cared-for older home. Pictures don't do it justice. Lots of comfortable chairs, an abundance of kitchen supplies, beautiful artwork, the wallpaper in the bathroom is one masterpiece after another. It's fun to walk around to notice all the little touches. Ocean view is just as pictured and easy-peasy short steps to the sand - and lots of it. For some reason walking on this sandy beach is easier than walking on the sand in southern california - it's more stable, doesn't give under foot. Walked it up and down the beach every morning and evening. Also bundled up and sat on the back patio every evening. Being covered and cornered, we were protected by wind. Yachats is a lovely area - everything you need and very quiet. Love this place!

Everything you need is there! A lot of vintage things in the house, but everything works great! Also, I hope they never change the bathroom wallpaper! I would describe it as " quaint". Ocean access is perfect. Good place for the money.

The house needs a deep cleaning. Closers are full of random clothes, linens and other miscellaneous items. Small appliances in the kitchen were dirty. Comforter in prime bedroom was dirty. It’s hard to write a review pointing out sine negatives because we had a terrific time there, just wished it was cleaner.

The view from the living room is spectacular. Also, getting onto the beach is very safe and easy. The concrete steps built into the boulders made our several trips from the house to the beach and back actually enjoyable. My family loved the house and is making sure I book it again next year

Great stay with the perfect view. Everything was great about this family spring break stay , if I have to give any criticism it would be to get a modern tv with a fire stick or smart tv, and maybe lock away personal clothing/pics, but only to make them not accessible.Definitely this place , and will book again

A Very Pleasant Stay

The overall location of the cottage, in proximity to Yachats and Waldport, was very convenient. Mgmt at Ocean Odyssey was excellent. I loved the photos of Ed & Gloria. I also enjoyed the board games and the collection of books.I grew up in the 60s, so I liked the vibe of the cottage.The main drawback for me was the bed and the pillows. Their useful life ended a very long time ago.The bedding was old and smelled musty. There were a few pretzels, popcorn, and toy pieces under the couch and dining table. I cleaned those up from the carpet. Overall, the cottage was very nice, but it's time to update the bed and bedding.Also, it would be helpful to have a hose attached to the outdoor spigot.

Home away from home!

This is our 4th or 5th stay. We stay here because it is clean, cozy and our dogs know it as theirs. When we are on the beach and say, “go home” -they know where to go! (There’s a little bit of cobwebs happening this visit- not enough to quibble about.) There weren’t any residents in them! The ease of access to the beach allows my wife the ability to enjoy it. My mother in law loves it too! 2 Adirondack chairs on the lawn for the sunset show is the only thing this place is missing! We will be back again and again!

A great spring break beach holiday

Our grandchildren had never stayed at a house that was right on the beach and they loved it. Just a few steps out the door and their little feet were in the sand. We plan on returning to this house.
