The apartment is comfortable and extremely well equipped. The host had provided everything we needed for our stay and more. The local biscuits, wine and cider provided were an unexpected and delightful treat.Only downside were the guests above our apartment who were very loud. Fortunately they left after a few days.There is public parking on the quayside in front of the apartment and an EV charger is a 5 minute walk.Market on Sunday morning is worth a visit for good quality local produce. Great fresh fish market.Great location, highly recommend.

Our first impression was ‘wow!’ when we walked into the apartment and the feeling never left us in our one week stay. We had a kind and informative welcome from Géraldine who remained helpfully attentive throughout. The apartment has great character. Within a fabulously situated old building, it is beautifully appointed, with everything we needed for a perfect holiday exploring all the beaches and their history nearby. Port-en-Bessin is a great place to be, and the apartment gives a very privileged view of the port and all of its activities. At present the port's walls are being renovated. It is fascinating to watch but it was a little noisy on a couple of occasions. It did not worry us as the bedroom is at the back of the house and muffled the sound on our one evening of late working. A huge bonus of this lovely apartment is its natural coolness in hot weather. We loved it and hope to return.

Unieke locatie, nabij genoeg eetgelegenheden, appartement was schoon en gelijk aan zoals op de foto's te zien is. Hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaren en communicatie verliep uitstekend, zowel vooraf als tijdens ons verblijf. Een aanrader!

We would come back in a second, we loved our stay. The apartment is in an amazing location, the views are incredible and you are close to shops and restaurants. It has everything you need and more, outstanding.Geraldine was absolutely amazing and thought of everything. She is an incredible host and so responsive. We throughly enjoyed our stay and can't say enough good thing about the apartment or Geraldine. We would stay again and again.

What a great location and nice town. The town had a lot to offer in terms of convenience, nice restaurants, a great fish market, and a major grocery store - rare for many of the other towns on the coast. Our host was so friendly, accommodating and helpful. This is one of the nicer Vrbo we have stayed at with a great kitchen, nice view, comfortable beds. Geraldine had coffee and many staples available for our use. Parking was super easy and location easy to find. Thank you for a great stay

We spent three nights in Geraldine’s adorable apartment. It’s exactly as described and the location is excellent- only a block away from the commercial stuff- quiet and easy to find. We enjoyed cooking each night since the most fabulous fish market with absolutely just caught fish is right across the street. The kitchen is very well equipped and Geraldine is adorable and helpful. She stayed in touch throughout our stay texting to assure our satisfaction, and she offered both French and English information which was also helpful for us. I would definitely make a return visit to this historic and quaint town and I’d absolutely stay in Geraldine’s apartment.

better than advertised…this apartment is pristinely clean, stocked with anything you might need. pretty much brand new interior. it is right on the harbor…if you can keep a day JUST for sitting at the window to watch the water go in and out, do it!almost everything for your stay is within walking distance. this village is right between omaha beach and arromanches. geraldine is a wonderfully attentive hostess. one thing: if you have an issue with stairs, this apt is up one flight of stairs, a bit narrow.

Marvelous spot by the Sea

Everything was just as shown on the listing! Geraldine was incredibly helpful with all our questions and has thought of everything to make one's stay easy and relaxing. The furnishings, the ambience and the incredible view morning and night combined to make our stay very special indeed. Five stars for sure.

Breakfast by the Sea!

Lovely apartment! Owner was very responsive! Beautiful location...watched the seagulls frolicking in the bay...very nice restaurants within walking distance.Only issue was finding keys to get in the apartment. Our apartment was on the second floor landing on your left...not on the main floor.

Incredible

The hostess and host were most accommodating. This was the first time in 2 months and 13 rentals that we were greeted in person. This is quite helpful because the idiosyncrasies of equipment in each apartment is often a challenge. This was the most carefully designed accommodation. We needed nothing more to merely move in. Even the normal annoyances of rental units ( minimal amount of toilet tissue, minimal coffee, no cooking spices, no clothes washing detergent, etc) were not an issue here. Everything was provided for us. It is amazing how minimal these provisions are in most rental when it would be so inexpensive to provide those conveniences. Congratulations to this hostess for being so thoughtful. They were available throughout our stay and we hope that we will be able to return one day. Wonderful town, wonderful apartment

Beyond our expectations and better than advertised. Geraldine met us upon check in and provided great guidance. The apartment is emmaculate and in a special location overlooking the historical basin. Convenient to the Normandie beaches, this quaint village is truly a gem. Thank-you Geraldine.

Beautiful Apartment in Charming Village Centrally Located

The apartment is beautifully decorated, very clean and well cared for. Geraldine met with us personally for the check in and was very helpful in explaining how everything worked in the apartment and providing information about the area. We loved the apartment and the village where it’s located and would gladly stay there again.

Effet "wouaouh" garanti !

Vacances reposantes (lieu calme avec vue sur mer), enrichissantes (musées et plages du débarquement) et sportives (golf). Que rechercher de plus ? L' accueil de Géraldine est au top (explicatifs, topo sur la région et activités, ....) et l'appartement est magnifique (propre, fonctionnel et bien équipé). Le marché du Dimanche matin permet de faire aisément ses courses pour la semaine (pas besoin d'aller dans les hypers de Bayeux bien qu'à 15 minutes de route seulement. Pour qui souhaite allier sport (golf ou vélo ou marche), culture historique (Overlord), c'est une destination à ne pas manquer !

Everything was perfect! Host was there to meet us, she showed us around the apartment. She spoke English which was helpful me as I don’t speak French. Host had maps marked out of site to visit in the area. Would stay there again in a heart beat.

Wonderful!!

The property is exactly as it looks in the pictures and even better in person. My husband and I were blown away by the beauty of the apartment and its location. From our first night we were discussing when we might be able to come back. The town of Port en Bessin is just as wonderful. It is a smaller village but has everything you need and within walking distance. Every morning my husband walked to the bakery to get us breakfast. We dined at two seafront restaurants that were a 2 minute walk down the street that had outside seating where you can watch the sunset. We also made a trip to the grocery for drinks and snacks. We would for sure stay here again and Geraldine was fantastic! Met us at check in and went over all the things the area had to offer all of which we took her advice on! This is truly a gem in the heart of Normandy! 10/10

Wonderful Waterfront Apartment in Perfect Port Setting

We had a wonderful time in Port-en-Bessin due in large part to this lovely apartment. Everything was clean and comfortable and per the description. Our host was quick to help with any questions and offered suggestions for a market, restaurants, and attractions. We loved being so close to the water and watching the boats go in and out of port each day. The local restaurants provide quality food with a lot of variety. It was enjoyable to just walk along the port and visit all the little shops and grab a coffee or snack. Highly recommend this property!
