Upscale cabin in the woods

The Steel Mill cabin was exceptional! We loved the location and amenities. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated! It was private, yet not secluded from everything. We were close to coffee shops, restaurants, and stores. I didn’t know I needed the massage chair and sauna…but I most certainly did - we loved them! We will 100% stay here again on future trips to Hocking Hills.

Communication was great. Had a couple small problems but were fixed immediately. Everything about the cabin was tasteful and classy. We enjoyed the trails so we weren’t at the cabin much during the day. We did go down to the lake and it looked nice. Four cabins in one “complex” but you never knew anyone else was around. Heard noises in the back and it turned out to be a deer!! We celebrated our anniversary and the cabin was a nice treat!

I have been enjoying seeing the deer this spring and summer too! Mama and her twins bound through the properties several times a day. We put corn out for them and they thank us by staying out of our gardens! I'm so glad you enjoyed your anniversary celebration trip! I hope you will make it a tradition!

A Nice Retreat

We had an amazing weekend getaway at the Steel Mill Industrial cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautifully designed and immaculately clean everything was. The industrial theme is unique and thoughtfully done, while still feeling warm, comfortable, and luxurious. The cabin's distinctive design includes features like a private hot tub, infrared sauna, massage chair, and a spacious double walk-in shower, making it a wonderful place to relax. The peaceful setting overlooking the gardens and ravine made it easy to unplug and unwind. We especially enjoyed spending our evenings in the hot tub and mornings with coffee, taking in the beautiful scenery. Every detail seemed carefully considered, and the cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is also perfect, close enough to Hocking Hills attractions yet secluded and private. If you're looking for a romantic getaway or just a quiet place to recharge, we highly recommend the Steel Mill Industrial cabin. We can't wait to come back!

Great location, beautiful cabin, excellent communication by the host, Evelyn, who made sure we had everything we needed. Absolutely loved the availability of kayaks and canoes for guests. So much to do in the area, will definitely be planning a trip back in the future.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed at the Steel Mill cabin and it was an amazing get away for our anniversary. The property was super clean and up-to date with great amenities. We enjoyed our evenings relaxing by the fire table with a glass of wine after a long hike and dip in the hot tub. Overall great experience that we would definitely do again!

This property was simply amazing! I could always find my husband in the hot tub enjoying the sounds of nature. The home itself was beautifully decorated, with high end cooking pans and an amazing comfortable bed. The shower was also amazing, and we did indulge in using it daily. The upstairs sauna was also a plus. We sat in it and were amazed how we did "not feel hot", yet we were both sweating. Must be the infra-red heating. We stayed for a week, and never ran out of things to do and enjoy! The propane fireplace and the chairs overlooking the revine became a nightly ritual. If you are considering this beautiful home, just do it you will not be sorry.

Steel Mill Industrial cabin was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the sauna, massage chair and the hot tub. Very clean and everything was in perfect working order.

Very relaxing stay.

Our stay at Steel Mill Industrial was very comfortable and relaxing. The cabin was very clean, well decorated and well stocked with all cooking utensils, towels, blankets etc. Nice deck with gas grill, gas fire ring and hot tub. We highly recommend.

Everything was as advertised, or better. The cabin was very clean, nicely decorated, everything functioned as it should, and everything we could have possibly needed was provided. Communications with host were excellent and timely. The guidebook provided was detailed and provided all necessary information. The amenities made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. This cabin is truly “A Cut Above”. The location is also excellent, just minutes from Logan and near all area attractions. We will certainly look to stay at a “A Cut Above” property the next time we visit this area.

Overall had a wonderful stay. Especially appreciated the amenities that were provided for the kitchen and cooking. We stayed in the fall and our only suggestion would be a retractable awning over the hot tub.

Relaxing retreat

We just stayed in the Steel Mill Industrial cabin for the third year in a row as a quick late September getaway and recharge. This has become an annual trip for my wife and I and look forward to coming back next year and more more after that.

We loved being so close to the lake and not having to bring our own kayaks. The lights on the trees at night were a nice surprise when using the hot tub . Was a very relaxing experience.

It was an awesome experience.

The property inside and out was very clean and very inviting. Everything advertised was delivered with a comfortable bed and cozy living room with a great view of the wooded area. The outdoor space offered two chairs, gas fire table and grill. This was a great place to start your morning with a hot coffee overlooking the wooded area. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks on the lake that were included. The property is centrally located to all the local attractions and is easy to navigate. Evelyn's consistent communication prior and during our stay was very informative and made the check-in and check-out process easy. My wife and I highly recommend this vacation getaway. We will be back in 2026!

I have contacted this guest 3 times to learn the reason for knocking the 5th star. He doesn’t reply so the only thing I know is that we did not allow this guest to bring his dog to our no pet accommodation. He did not contact during his stay about any other issue.
