One of our favorites!!!!

Wanted a cabin for a quiet week to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. A place to recharge. This cabin was more then anything we expected. I knew we'd like it based on reviews and pictures but it surpassed EVERYTHING i wa hoping for. I could go on forever about how cute, quite, serene, clean, comfy, tastefully decorated, etc, etc. You thinkcabin in the woods you think musty, bugs.... this was one of the cleanest places we've stayed and not a single bug. Hot tubs was fabulous, got slightly cloudy (not even a big deal) but I worried about now being able to use it all week. Sent them a message and they responded almost immediately and had it taken care of in an hour. Super impressive. I cannot speak highly enough about the whole experience! Would love to make it back again! Thank you both for sharing this amazing place! If I could rate it higher I would have!!!

Our 20th wedding anniversary

My wife and I throughly enjoyed staying at this property. Very clean and tastefully decorated! The host were great at communicating with us! We hope to get back this way in the fall! Loved it!!!

What a Gem

This cozy and quiet cabin is truly perfect. Very clean and has everything needed for a weekend getaway. The hot tub was perfect after a full day of hiking. The hosts were very tentative. We loved it!!

Peace and quiet in the woods

Yes, it’s called a cabin, but it’s really a charming small home with everything you need! Close to Hocking Hills state park, the national forest and other nature preserves (with fewer people). Deck, grill, hot tub, fire pit, lovely inside accommodations and great commutation with the hosts. Highly recommend this piece of heaven for a getaway!!!

Hocking Hills Vacation

We had a great time during our stay. We were only about 15 minutes from Hocking Hills State Park which has some amazing trails! The property was very private and peaceful. Would definitely book again in the future!

Anniversary Getaway

We celebrated 15 years of marriage at Avery’s Place and also the start of a new chapter in Ohio after living our whole married life in Tennessee. There were many pockets of Hocking Hills that reminded us of our time in TN—several short hikes with high rewards! Perfect place to reminisce and celebrate all that is to come.

Great cabin

Property was so nice a peaceful. Everything was clean and beautiful. Hosts were very helpful and responded within 30 mins. Location was great everything is within 15 min. Will definitely stay here again!

Felt like home!

We stayed while we were eloping nearby at Old Man's Cave. The place was perfect for our needs. The hosts were extremely kind, patient and understanding :) The only downfall was that the stairs were steep getting upstairs they were a little hard on my hips but pregnancy is partially to blame haha. We'd definitely stay again and recommend to others!!

Memorial Day weekend

Anniversary Trip

Wonderful cabin in the woods, remote setting. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Owners welcomed us with a nice touch with flowers, card, cheese and cracker package and chocolates to recognize our anniversary. Cabin was very clean and perfect for relaxation. Everything you could need was provided. Close proximity to Hocking Hills sites and downtown Logan for any shopping needs. Thank you for a perfect stay and will definitely be back!

Romantic Back to Nature Getaway after Eclipse

Loved this quaint secluded cabin..it’s just as described in the property listing. Hosts are really nice and were prompt on giving instructions and replying to questions, but only problem is the Hocking Hills area you may not get WiFi due to being in a State Park will many peaks and valleys. Hint: Cabin has pretty good connection so make sure to put in your destination before you leave the cabin and you will be good. Hocking HIlls is just gorgeous and highly recommended along with this awesome cabin. Some advice…Brewery 33 has the best sandwiches and pretty good beer they make themselves and Valley View Hills Winery has great wine, food and pretty views.

Cabin in the woods

Great property! Clean and cute! Views are great, close to hocking hills. Covered hot tub and such a bonus since it rained, able to enjoy it still. The king size bed upstairs was great and comfortable. Only neg thing I can think of is the queen bed downstairs is uncomfortable with 2 people, but 1 person is more comfortable. Thank you for a great cabin.

Anniversary Get-away

This was the most wonderful cabin. Clean and inviting. It was in a secluded location, yet close enough to activities. It was perfect! The dogs loved the place as well and had a relaxing stay. Quiet, Romantic Getaway

We loved our stay here. The cabin was exactly what we needed, the area is quiet and remote, the amenities were wonderful. We enjoyed the hot tub and went on some hikes too. The cabin is clean and was well setup for guests. We will stay here again!!

Military Family Vacation

I was blessed to enjoy this cabin with my military spouse (has PTSD) and our best friend that is also a veteran (disabled). This cabin was perfect! They were able to relax and not be on watch the entire time. The owners are very responsive and inviting. The cabin is better than advertised and I didnt think that was possible. Words can describe how perfect this trip was.

Beautiful Cozy Cabin

This is a beautiful cozy cabin in the woods. Great place to unplug, but with all the modern conveniences. After a day hiking at Hocking Hills we soaked in the hot tub and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Also enjoyed bonfires, card games and made a delicious dinner in the well equipped kitchen. Highly recommend! Great hosts who definitely understand what a guest wants and needs.

We are pet friendly and kid friendly! Our family was complete when we brought Avery in the world and we love that Kali is the best big sister to her! It was important for us to have a place that families with kids and pets like ours could get away and enjoy it as well!
