I didn’t actually get to stay at the property due to a medical condition; however, Steve was both accommodating and supportive of my refund. This is a great place to stay and enjoy little Switzerland.

This cabin was a perfect place for our girls weekend for 5 of us. The kitchen had all the pots and pans needed to cook dinner in and the table was large enough fo all of us. The main room was bigger than the pictures let on. The porch was spacious and the hot tub was great and overlooked the valley with mountain tops in the distance. The location was close to towns and attractions. We had a great stay.

We’ve stayed at this cabin severaltimes….it is the cleanest property we’ve ever rented. The location is convenient to little Switzerland, Spruce Pine and an easy drive to Burnsville. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub,. The only thing that could be improved is adding a crockpot, toaster and tea pitcher in the kitchen. The supply of paper plates, napkins and trash bags in the cabin was much appreciated.

As always this is such a hidden gem. The area is amazing the cabin is perfect. Very comfortable and lovely views. Cabin is clean and plenty of supplies.

Everything was great. Cabin was clean and had alot of space. The cable and internet was out while we were there so the hot tub got plenty of use. The scenery and activites were awesome. We also got the see the Spruce Pines parade for the 4th. Any everyone we talked to was so friendly. Had a great honeymoon.

Private, remote getaway.

We don’t supply things like cake mixers or blenders, just the normal things people want for short stays. We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very clean and quiet. It was the perfect place to “chill out”. We even had special visitors. Deer, wild turkeys, a kitty cat, and some beautiful birds. Spruce Pine is only about 15 minutes away. There is a Walmart, and several restaurants located there. Also, the restaurants at Little Switzerland are less than 10 minutes away. The food at the Chalet was excellent. The only suggestion I would make is that the owners invest in new mattresses for both beds. The stay was delightful, and we will be telling our family and friends about this lovely cabin. Thank you 🙂

Nice cabin needs internet

If you want off the grid in the middle of gorgeous scenery - it’s a nice cabin with no cell service (expected and out of property control), 99% of our time had zero internet even after requesting 2 “re-connects”. That made things hard to look for things to visit and more important directions to get there. Internet is within property control. Get that fixed and I highly recommend it.

We are very sorry that the internet was out during your visit. It just went out a few days ago and we are trying our best to get it back up and running. However, being it a rural area, it is not easy to get professional help quickly, especially over the weekend. With respect to cell service, unless the weather is very bad, you should have pretty good cell service as a new tower was installed a few years ago. Verizon seems to work best, and ATT the worst. There is also a memorandum we prepared of things to do in the area that should have been on the dining table for your use. We will check to make sure no one took it, and we are working to get the internet back up and running as soon as possible. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience.this caused you.

Best place on earth

We have stayed in these cabins 3 times now and every time it’s an adventure and the most relaxing place on earth. This will always be my getaway we love the place and the owners are amazing. As long as the pricing stays far we will be visiting here multiple times a year.

Awesome getaway

This property was one of our favorites! Check in was easy and the house was very clean! It rained most of our trip but the front porch has awesome Views and is very comfortable!

Great place to for a secluded get away

There wasn’t much to do here but the place was nice for. 3 day vacation . The dishwasher didn’t clean all of the dishes properly. The place was clean and big . The hot tub was nice . I would come back again .

Winter is a quiet time here as most of the tourist attractions close for the season. It's still great for those trying to escape to a peaceful place of natural beauty, but the number of recreational options decrease significantly. Perhaps you would enjoy the summer or fall more as those are the main tourism times. Please come again.
