The location was amazing and the house was beautiful. Everything was so close and very convenient having kids. Plenty of towels and amenities. We all loved it. The washer dryer had some difficulties, but other than that everything was fantastic. Love to go back again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay however there were a few issues that more accurate information in the listing would have been helpful. Neither the f the pools were heated despite the listing indicating one of the pools was heated. The walk to the beach is on a bridge over a rattlesnake prairie and the elevators frequently did not work. That being said the owner was communicative but did not offer solutions but offered excuses. She did offer to change our location the first time the elevator broke but only after i informed her we would have to seek alternative accommodations if not resolved. Restaurant had limited hours so we had to go off property for most meals. The resort does offer bike rentals and cabanas to rent but we have had better amenities at other properties

We understand your disappointment in your stay in our community. Restaurant hours are limited in the off season due to lack of guests and owner usage is generally on the weekend only. The walkovers to the beach are necessary as many guests do not realize that snakes live in dunes. The bikes are free to check out but the cabanas do need to be reserved at a cost. Our community tries to offer the best accommodations it can to the homeowners who chose to rent their properties. We realize that we did meet your expectations but hope your family was able to make great memories during your stay.

We had a wonderful week here! The condo was in the perfect location and had tons of space for our family. It was nicely furnished and had plenty of nice little extras as well. If we come to Galveston again we would definitely choose this place!

Family tradition!!!

Our family has been coming to Point West almost every summer for the last 10 years! We have rented both houses and condos; bay side and beach side, and we always have a great time! The property is well maintained and the property management people are so friendly! We love it!

Pointe West stay

The Pointe West Resort was a great place for my family and I to vacation! The property was well maintained and our condo was spacious and very attractive. The linens on the beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. Our hosts were always quick to reply when contacting them with questions. The only reason I gave the place 4 stars instead of 5 was that the icemaker in the refrigerator was not working so we had no ice during our stay. Otherwise we had a great experience.

Family Vacay

We came down for Mother's Day and a little family vacation and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The property was perfect for our family of 5. We went to the pools, the beach, and did a few museums in downtown Galveston. We would love to stay again!!!

Wrist band rip off

Was not up front about amenities not being available but charged me 125 anyway and when I complained said there was a pool across the highway to use…checked it out next day and it’s a kiddy pool but was closed for maintenance. Everything else was closed for remodel and code for basketball court didn’t work!

Great spot on the beach!

Fun location with everything within the resort. Rent a golf cart, you won't regret it. The pool on the bayside is heated. Family had a blast and plan on coming back soon!

Great community \ Wonderful hosts

The property is beautiful with beach and bay views - amazing sunrise and sunset opportunities. Beaches were deep, clean and very relaxing. Hosts were proactive and very helpful with our questions. Highly recommend Pointe West and these two hosts: MaryAlice and Linda

Weekend getaway

NICE HOME AWAY FROM HOME

THE STAY WAS COMFORTABLE. UNFORTUNATELY I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN BECAUSE I CAN'T WALK VERY FAR DUE TO COPD. THE WALK TO THE BEACH WAS VERY FAR FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME. THE TWO GRANDDAUGHTERS DIDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM. THEY LOVED THE BEACH! WE HAD TO LEAVE EARLY DUE TO HURRICANE BERYL.. THAT WAS DISAPPOINTING BUT WE CAN'T CONTROL THE WEATHER.

Perfect for family

We had a wonderful trip and loved the condo. Best parts: Close to 2 different walk overs to the beach. Kitchen well stocked. Hospitality basket was super helpful with dishwasher and laundry pods, some paper plates, etc. close to the pool, great views. Patio had lots of shade in the afternoons and breeze.

Great beach get away

We stayed in this condo for my Dad's 80th birthday and enjoyed the beautiful views, sitting on the beach, the Point West pool, golfing at Galveston CC and a fun celebration dinner at the West End Marina. The condo was clean and comfortable. Its a great location to the PW pool and close to the beach walkover. I would stay here again.

Cousin Camp 2024
