"Casa las Hermanas" (House of the Sisters in English) is where we have raised our two daughters since they were 2 and 4 years old. We rented the original property for many years before deciding to purchase it and do a major renovation and modernization. We have raised many chickens and local cats here, grown several crops of vegetables, bananas, papayas and limes in the old dirt backyard, all the while living without hot water, a washer or dryer, nor any other modern conveniences. Though we loved this simple way of life for those formative years, we eventually decided to invest in the property so that we could eventually turn it into a vacation rental while also enjoying some updating and modern conveniences ourselves. We like to say that we traded in chickens for a pool.

The unique benefit of our home is that you are literally in the heart of this charming seaside village surrounded by local charm, original San Pancho residents, chickens roaming the street as they have for decades, various street vendors, all while being a mere few blocks away from the beach. Many of our favorite restaurants and tacos stands are right down the street or around the corner where one can find fresh, innovative and creative cuisine, delicious jalapeño margaritas, local craft beer on tap, fresh produce and groceries! It's so nice to feel like you can experience the culture of Mexico while enjoying all the modern conveniences such as a modern bright kitchen, saline pool, TV and AC and in a beautiful, well-appointed home.
