We were surprised by this rating, as no concerns were reported before, during, or after the stay, and we were not given an opportunity to address any issues. Throughout the booking process, we responded promptly to questions, and accommodated a reservation change. We strive to provide a clean, well-maintained condo and responsive guest service. We understand that pool preferences can vary from guest to guest. The pools are part of the Sand Dunes Resort and are managed by the resort rather than by individual condo owners. While we don't have control over their design or depth, we do our best to accurately describe the amenities available to guests before booking. Thank you for your feedback. The property is subject to HOA parking rules that limit onsite parking to standard passenger vehicles and prohibit motorcycles on the property. We were not informed prior to arrival that your group would be traveling by motorcycle, and would have gladly discussed the parking restrictions had we known. We are also sorry to hear about your concerns regarding cleanliness and the damaged glass. Had these issues been reported during your stay, we would have addressed them immediately with our housekeeping team. We appreciate the feedback and wish you safe travels.

We strive to provide every guest with a clean, comfortable experience and maintain consistently high standards for our property. While routine departure cleaning is included in our standard cleaning fee, this reservation required substantial additional remediation beyond normal turnover expectations, including excessive sand throughout the unit, excessive trash removal, and stained linens/towels requiring replacement. No concerns or complaints about the property were reported during the stay, and we provided supporting documentation regarding the additional post-stay cleaning charges. We encourage future guests to review our many positive reviews, which reflect the experience we work hard to provide.

We work with a professional cleaning team and take great pride in our condo, which has a fully renovated kitchen, new living room furniture, and a long track record of 5-star reviews for cleanliness and care. Regarding the toilet, we provide plungers in each bathroom for guest use in the event of a minor clog — a standard practice in vacation rentals. Our records also show we were responsive to every message, and we immediately offered solutions during the stay. We understand that no property is perfect for every guest, but we remain committed to maintaining a clean, well-cared-for space for the many families who have enjoyed staying here over the years.

We do want to clarify for future guests: our condo features a fully upgraded kitchen, new living room furniture, and has received many 4- and 5-star reviews for both cleanliness and comfort. Towels and bedding are inspected regularly, and we’ll continue to replace items that no longer meet our standards. Plungers are provided in each bathroom as a standard convenience for minor clogs. We also appreciate the feedback about mopping and vents — those items are being addressed with our cleaners to make sure they don’t get overlooked. While we regret that this guest did not feel the unit was the right fit for them, we remain committed to maintaining a well-cared-for property that many families have enjoyed.
