We had a wonderful stay in San Diego! The place was clean, comfortable, and in an amazing location. We loved being within walking distance of the ocean and close to so many great places to explore. It made our trip even more enjoyable! We would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting San Diego and would happily stay here again. A big thank-you to our wonderful host for making us feel so welcome and helping make our stay special. We truly appreciate your hospitality and would love to come back again!

This is the place! It worked perfectly for our family of 3, and we loved the master bedroom being attached to the 2nd level deck. The host provided bikes and locks and we used them multiple a day - so convenient! It was very clean, and really bright. They did such a good job with a smaller space. We appreciated the quick and easy communication, a courteous and accommodating host, and excellent proximity to everything we wanted to do. We'd absolutely book the cottage again.

Absolute gem & perfect location. Easy walk to beach and local restaurants. Awesome amenities you feel like you're home. Robin was a great host, we had a question and she responded right away. Highly recommend!!

This property is even cuter than it looks in the photos and it’s nestled between the bayside and beach, a short walk to both. It’s stocked w anything needed to cook and each room is beautiful and comfortable. Robin is quick to communicate, answer any questions, and provided a great list of things to do in the area. Would highly recommend

This property is very well-maintained and updated! We appreciated all of the thoughtful amenities provided, especially the beach chairs, beach towels and boogie boards. It has a great location making access to the bay or beach so easy for families. Communication with the host was excellent as well. Would highly recommend.

The beach cottage is one of the best VRBOs!!! It’s in a great location, awesome decor, comfortable beds/sheets/blankets, & has all the beach necessities!!! Robin is a very friendly, accommodative host! My friends & I enjoyed her place so much! Thank you for everything!

Cute house. Steps away from the bay! The parking was nice since we had a full size truck. It took up both spots but it fit! Great price. Highly recommend.

The cottage was excellent. Felt very spacious for being relatively small — more than enough room for our family of four. It was very clean and amply supplied. We appreciated the beach towels, boogie boards, and beach chairs. Robin was excellent to communicate with and the location is perfect! We were there during the construction that the listing warned about but it wasn’t really a problem. They started early, which was fine for us as the kids never really adjusted to the time change so we were up early. Other than some noise, the construction next door did not interfere with our enjoyment of lovely Mission Beach!

The cottage is as cute as the picture - inside and out. It is good for 2 people, but could feel a bit crowded with more than that. The bathroom was a bit tight and I prefer to have more water pressure in the shower. We did not cook while we were there, but it seemed like the cottage was equipped with adequate kitchenware. There were plenty of towels (including beach towels) which was appreciated. Robin even had sunscreen available (even though it was a little too cool for us to hang on the beach without sweatshirts and pants.) The location was wonderful - a block to the bayside and a short walk to the beautiful beach. We rode the bikes that were at the house along the bay and the beach side, which was wonderful. We ate at The Mission (right around the corner) for breakfast several days and also found other places along the boardwalk for breakfasts. We were a short drive to La Jolla, as well as Pacific Beach, with good restaurants. The location is also about a 15-20 minute drive to every place we went in North Park, Old Town, University Heights, Normal Heights, Balboa Park and Ocean Beach. The outdoor deck is a nice space to hang out. The area feels safe and friendly. We even used the laundromat, just a few steps away. Robin was super communicative and great to work with!

This house was wonderful. I couldn’t think of a better place for my family of four to spend a week. I absolutely go again. The host was amazing a quick to reply. I’m so happy we went with this house for our stay. Very lucky to get to spend time in one of the OG cottages in Mission Beach.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Location was perfect, house was clean, fully stocked kitchen, and beds were comfortable. The hot water would go in and out while showering, but the owner made us aware of that and it wasn’t a big deal.

Incredible location. Close to everything, and very walkable. Easy walk to the beach and the bay. Good restaurants nearby. Easy to hop in a car and get to nearly everything you’d want to see in the area in 20 mins. We came with a family of four and it was perfect. Host was awesome and very accessible. Highly recommend.
