You’re moving to Greenville to start a new job and you need a temporary place to get your bearings before you settle in.

Or, you love to travel and budget is your top priority.

Either way, this property is exactly what you need. It's affordably priced and full of comfortable touches. It's got everything you need for a weekend visit or a long-term stay.

The kitchen is fully outfitted. The bathroom is totally refurbished. The king-sized bed is a high-end mattress (medium firmness with memory foam “cool gel” top). The bed linens are luxurious 100% cotton.

Here you’ll enjoy a small back porch, a washer, and dryer, Smart TV (sorry, no cable, but you can access your personal Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon accounts via Wi-Fi). This property is also dog friendly.

What about pets?
While this home is pet friendly, only dogs are allowed at this property (2 dogs max). Be advised there is a Nightly Pet Fee of $25/pet/night. For Airbnb guests, Airbnb only allows us to collect a flat rate. For this home, an initial pet fee has been assessed for one pet for an average of a two night stay. For guests that are bringing more than one pet and/or staying longer than two nights StayGVL reserves the right to collect the remaining pet fee through Airbnb Resolution Center. For stays longer than 14 days, we may charge a lower Nightly Pet Fee.

What are the Pet Rules?
We highly encourage owners to use a kennel to prevent any furniture or home damage when the pets are left unattended. We kindly ask that owners dispose of pet waste and not allow their pets on the furniture (couches, chairs, or beds), or we may have to charge to professionally clean each item. We place stained linens in each home for your use on messes, muddy paws, etc.

Violation of not coordinating for bringing a pet could result in immediate eviction without refund and a possible agreed $500.00 charge and additional cleaning fees to StayGVL. Guests must inform us of the type of animal they will be bringing ahead of time.

We do comply with requirements for service animals; however, please note that the ADA does not consider Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) the same as Service Animals, and therefore ESAs are not covered under the same rules. Any guest bringing an ESA will need to pay for the animal as the listing description requires.

What about early check-ins and late checkouts?
We understand you want to maximize your time in Greenville, so we offer early check-in and late checkout options. NOTE: There is a small fee for this service. Standard check-in is 4:00 PM; early check-in is 1:00 PM. Standard check-out is 10:00 AM; late checkout is noon. All requests must be made ahead of time.

What are your cleaning practices (and fees)?
Some guests have asked why our cleaning fees seem slightly higher than other rental companies. It's a fair question, and here's our honest answer: When it comes to guest safety, we will never cut corners. Some hotel cleaning staffs spend 20 minutes (at most) tidying up a room. Other rental companies charge less—and do a whole lot less cleaning! Not us. We will always go the extra mile. Sometimes, it takes our staff eight hours to properly clean and disinfect a 1-bedroom house and to commercially clean all towels and linens. Bottom line? We only charge for the necessary cleaning to ensure your safety and comfort. We inspect all properties within 24 hours of arrival.

Please note that while we take great care to maintain our patios and outdoor spaces for your enjoyment, the weather in Greenville can be unpredictable. During winter months, the patios and outdoor spaces may not be as well-maintained as we would like due to inclement weather such as rain, wind, and cold temperatures. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

What are StayGVL's office hours?
As a professional property management company, our office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You can easily reach us by email or phone. In the case of guest emergencies, we're available to you 24/7.

What do I need to do after booking?
All guests must sign (electronically) a Vacation Rental Agreement (VRA) with our company after booking. This is an insurance and state requirement, and the VRA is a reiteration of the Terms and Conditions listed in our House Rules that you agree to when booking. We require this signed agreement whether you book directly with us or through an online travel agency like Airbnb, VRBO, etc.

As a guest, you have the flexibility of a coded smart lock to check in when it's convenient for you, anytime after check-in time. We respect your privacy; we will not come to the property during your stay unless you want us to or we must address an issue.

5 minutes to downtown

Was nice interior. relaxing. super close to downtown. Was in town for business. The ad posting is very misleading, It's NOT a house, it's a center apartment, in between two other units with paper thin walls, when you lay in the bed you can hear the other tenants TV plain and clear, every word. Neighborhood was quite . Had 2 small issues, First one being the management, Called me as I entered town, was very rude, telling me again that I need to sign the lease in order to gain access code for house, (was not a house) Told her I signed it 1.5 hours ago, oh I didn't see that, well I will send you access code now she say's. 2nd issue was no big deal, the previous tenant was having mail and UPS drop off packages for him and his wife everyday, UPS knocked on door and left, USPS knocked on door for me to sign something for someone, Said no, I will not sign anything for someone I don't know. Over all it is a nice apartment, appeared to have everything, even though I never used anything in kitchen. After seeing the lease I knew I would not be using the kitchen or frig. As they state in the rental lease which I have "never signed one" before, this was a last minute booking. Have stayed at 20-28 VRBO's in past 2 years, never an issue. They state in the lease, "if" you move anything couch, chair or tables, coffee pot and it's back where it was, they will be charging you $200. per item they have to move back in place, I always recommend taking before and after pictures of any place you stay. I DO NOT recommend staying or renting from this company.

Worst VRBO Ever

Unfortunately, we are very disappointed in the accommodations. First and foremost, there are no blinds in the kitchen window, and you can see through the blinds into the living room and bedroom, especially in the evening. We had to clothespin a lightweight tapestry on the bedroom window so that we could get dressed in the bedroom, walk around comfortably, and sleep in privacy. One of the things that was described in the ad was how clean the place was. It claimed an 8 hour cleaning regimen and charged a hefty cleaning fee plus three other administrative, service and processing fees. When we were attempting to curl under the edge of the small rug under the coffee table, to avoid a tripping hazard, we discovered about two dozen chips crushed under the rug. So there is no way the floors have been cleaned. There were also other things on the floors, such as clothes pins, bolts, and dirt, which would not have been on the floor if it had been cleaned. There is no dresser in order to unpack suitcases and there is nothing to set suitcases on since we had to live out of them. To walk to the outside trashcan we had to walk through a muddy backyard, yet the instructions tell us we do need to put things in the trashcan. The bed is incredibly uncomfortable because it has no boxsprings and we rolled toward each other in the middle as it is sunken in the middle. There is no counter space in the bathroom and the shelf that is in the bathroom is hanging from a hook so that if we place anything on the shelf it swings back-and-forth knocking things over. The tiny table in the kitchen with no chairs, which we tried to use as a desk, isn’t attached to the legs. And there are stains on the couch cover. All in all it just doesn’t feel clean and the furniture feels miss matched and is inadequate, like it was picked up at garage sales. There were three hanging pots, two with very dead plants and one with dirt and rocks in the bottom. The photos show live plants so I’d say maintenance doesn’t include watering plants. The photos show large rugs in the living room and bedroom, but those rugs are absent. I understand why you have no reviews. The guest book has four reviews that are undated and appear to all be written with the same pen. I think they’re fake. We did not contact the owner during our stay because we did not want them to be doing such significant updates while we were there. Needless to say, we will not be back.
