Good but could be great soon
Location was amazing. Details not so much. The self locking iron gate and security cameras give you a sense of security but the lack of a deadbolt makes you wonder. Nice to have an entire apartment for a better price than the local nicer hotels but it lacks some of the conveniences that a hotel brings. Like an elevator or luggage dolly. No where was it mentioned in the ad for this unit that it was on the second floor of a building. Both my group and another visiting had to hunt for a narrow staircase to take us to our respective units. The beautiful historic brick building is under renovation also not mentioned in ad so expect some debris around the building as well as some sand and pebbles in unit from the exposed brick settling. A dust buster was provided but not left charged. The downstairs half bath would be better suited if door was out swing but most can wrap themselves around the door when entering and exiting. Again a tremendous location ideal for those wanting to enjoy the nightlife of Charleston as you are right next to a good club with rooftop bar. The white noise machines provided in each bedroom can not compete with the rooftop bar on Saturday night so be prepared to sleep in after a late night.
