Looking for a rental that can accommodate up to 12-14+ people? Charming large beach home less than a 1/2 mile walk to Narragansett Town Beach, many shops and restaurants. This five bedroom Victorian located in the Pier provides plenty of room for a large crowd. Three full bathrooms on second floor and a half bath off of the newly renovated kitchen. A Bonus room and screened in Sun Room allow groups to gather together, and find space for independant lounging.
This property is managed by Narragansett Properties, we are available to guests when needed.
A lovely backyard provides additional space for grilling and stretching out in the sun after a long day at the beach; and a heated outdoor shower for when you return from the beach. Make summer memories that will last a lifetime!

Location, location, location!

This house is on the main road leading right to the ocean and beach. The location is wonderful, but that’s where it ends. The property itself needs a complete overhaul. We were greeted with a continuous stream of ants in the kitchen (countertops, cupboards, drawers, walls) and in the bathrooms. We addressed this with the property management company who sent over ant traps on Monday, two days after we checked in. It took a couple of days but the ants slowly dissipated in number only to return on our last day of the trip. The house itself is very old and has not been maintained by its owner, which is a shame. It is clearly being used as income property and there is zero pride of ownership. The walls and ceilings are deteriorating plaster walls and the floors are uneven, as is the rickety staircase leading up to the bedrooms on the second floor. The entire house smells strongly of mold. We actually went and spoke to the property manager in person and she sent a cleaning crew who worked to make the house cleaner, but that really should have been done before anyone stayed in it! There is mold on every bathroom ceiling and it is impossible to get away from the mildew scent. The photos of this house are photoshopped, at best. You will not get what you see here in the photos. The “laundry room” is a garage full of past guests’ forgotten items and has never been cleaned. The washer was full of mold. Renter beware!

Great location

Surprising large home. 3.5 baths, 5 bedrooms. Great room and sun porch. Garbage and recycling was easy. Most importantly, 10 minute walk to beach.

Disappointing

The property is unkept and in need of TLC. The location is close to the beach and playground for young children. It is on a busy street.

Fantastic location, just OK property

You really can’t beat the location of this property, within walking distance of the beach and central to downtown shopping/restaurants in Narragansett. The house sleeps quite a few people and is ideal for large families, including those with kids. It is also VERY well stocked with kitchen utensils, etc. As another reviewer indicated, I’d stay there again just simply for the location. However…the listing did not indicate that we would need to bring or procure our own linens and that was quite a surprise and a bit of a hassle. Additionally, when we arrived the house was very hot. It was not clear to us if there was central A/C and, if so, what parts of the house it cools. We *think* it simply cools the main floor but we’re not certain, even after our 7th day… Lastly, this house is quite old. The kitchen has been nicely renovated. But the upper floors’ walls are cracked and peeling and doesn’t convey a sense of safety, especially after walking up a narrow, suspect stairwell. If you can look beyond the aesthetics, you won’t mind this place, but it’s definitely not a “turnkey”/updated type rental. That said, for the price and location, definitely consider it.

Great location and tons of space

The house was great in the sense that it was in a great location, tons of room for people to stay and it comes with 4 Narragansett town beach passes. The property managers were very responsive and helpful with any questions that we had. The only thing I have negative to say is the house was not clean upon check-in, it also had an odor to it. I had to put some elbow grease into a very dirty bathroom with questionable remnants in the sink (yuck!). Would consider going back based on location and the size of the house.
