Beach And Boardwalk At Deer Lake Park:
A popular beach access for the Grace Point Community is the beautiful white sand beach at Deer Lake Park. It’s an easy 0.5-mile bike or drive from Grace Point to the stunning Deer Lake beach entrance. This beach access offers parking, picnic pavilions, restrooms, hiking trails, and gorgeous sunsets! The 0.25-mile boardwalk also offers one of Florida's most spectacular views of the dunes. (Daily access is approximately $2 per person on foot or bike and $3 for a vehicle up to 8 passengers. This operates on an honor system with a kiosk onsite.)

Fall Beach Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The actual house was very nice and accommodated our group. Had we known that you cannot get to the beach on foot in October we would not have rented this house. The shuttle was no longer running and you had to travel by car in one direction to Deer Lake (and pay) or the other direction to some access point with no parking. No renters were allowed access through the gate that separated this property and The Bridges property to walk to the beach. Extremely inconvenient.

House was nice but the beach was far

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in 30A many times. This was our first time staying in Prominence we chose it because of the proximity to the Big Chill. Overall the vacation was great we had a small family reunion. It was a bit far from the beach but we managed with cars and the golf cart. Parking was an issue at all beaches. The food at the Big Chill wasn't great but we ventured out to other areas. Overall the house was just ok. When we got to the house the floors were filthy and by the end of the first night all of our feet were black and the rugs on the main floor need cleaned. The kitchen needs more dish towels, food storage, and scissors. I would put a larger sofa on the 2nd floor patio or more furniture instead of the first floor we barely used that patio. The green egg needs cleaned bad and there are no proper grilling utensils. My husband burned half of his arm hair off with the utensils provided so we only used it once. A regular grill would have been much easier. Extra throw blankets in the living room would have been nice. My kids liked the bunk room on the 1st floor and the poker table was a hit. When we looked at the photos the poker table was on the first floor but is now on the 2nd floor. I would have left it on the 1st floor (kids got loud and you could hear them everywhere). I would put a pull out sofa in the sitting room on the 2nd floor. The beds were all very comfortable except for the top bunks and the bathrooms were all very nice. The house over all has a good floor plan and it worked for our family but we will not stay in this area again due to proximity to the beach and there are no other restaurants other than the big chill which is a large food court. The farmers market on Thursday was great. We prefer Rosemary, Seacrest and Seaside to this area. We plan on purchasing a short term rental and I wanted to leave a true review.

Beautiful Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I enjoyed this home tremendously! The property was extremely clean and well kept. Every minute item needed for a week's stay was presentin this home. My family is already discussing our plans for next year. The only drawback was that we were expecting a Keurig, but instead there was a drip coffee maker.
