The perfect family vacation home minutes from the beach & surrounded by amazing hiking trails! Enjoy surfing locally, exploring the best of south Orange County beach cities or simply relax in our big shaded backyard! Home is a spacious 3bd (+air mattress) w/ fully stocked kitchen, game room w/ fireplace, darts & board games, & 3 bathrooms. Our home has all necessary essentials including a dedicated workspace, 2 Smart TVs, washer/dryer, wine glasses, fans & central heat. 🤙🏻PLUS TWO 8' foam surf boards for guests!

Neighborhood is a quiet residential area surrounded by hills and hiking trails, facing west towards the ocean. Our home is central to all south Orange County beach cities ! 🏖Just a 2 min drive to nearest beach - Doheny State Beach and Dana Point Harbor - and within 10 mins of famous surf spots including Trestles and Salt Creek. 🇪🇸Old town San Juan Capistrano is just two exits up the freeway and offers great shopping, the Amtrak train station, The historic Mission @ San Juan and more. 🛍 The San Clemente Pier and The Outlets @ San Clemente are located just a 10 min drive south. The surrounding area (within 10 mins) is filled with great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping and more. Miles of hiking trails with ocean views are walking distance from house. There is a very large grass park with kids play structure located 5 mins walking down hill. John Wayne airport is 25 minutes away and the Amtrak station is 8 mins away. 15 minutes drive to Laguna Beach, 30 minutes to Disney Land, 1 hour to Los Angeles, and 1 hour to San Diego.

NOTE: There is a 1 bed guest unit on property - attached to the main house. Entrances are completely separate and there is no access between the two. If interested in renting the guest suite as well, please inquire with us.

GETTING AROUND: Car is highly recommended - house is on top of a large hill. E-bikes suggested for biking. Uber and Lyft are very available in the area. (Amtrak train station is 10 min drive from house. John Wayne International airport is 25 min drive & LAX is about 1 hour drive).

Luke made our time together effortless with easy check in- a well stocked house- privacy- comfortable beds- clean hot showers and linens….Thankyou Luke for allowing Grandma to bring her pup…she really enjoyed her birthday and so did we!

I didn’t want to leave

Michelle/Zack have created a unique guest experience. They are truly two of the most kind and sane people you could find circa 2021. I had two weeks of what felt like a true live like a local experience. After two days of the typical tourist beach endeavors I was happy to walk in the friendly neighborhood and check out the hikes, mountain biking and yoga in the park all of which are close by..a gelato cart would have made the experience too perfect.. I was happy to settle for the neighborhood cupcake stand this visit. Enjoy the amazing views, a bit of coastal Italy in So Cal. The suite decor is beach meets Joshua Tree super artful without feeling the least bit staged. My best vrbo stay

We fell in love with this quiet neighborhood, perched on the hill with amazing views! One of our favorite parts about this neighborhood are the miles of hiking trails located just up the hill, that stretch up and down the coast with incredible 180 degree views of the ocean & surrounding cities.
