Needs some work

We stayed at this property for 2 nights, with another family. The location was excellent, lots of restaurants and places to walk to all close by. The property itself had many issues unfortunately. Safety feels like a major issue, both locks have keypad entrance which is good but no deadbolts to lock the doors from the inside. It feels like anyone could just come in and who knows who has the code. When we first arrived their was a man in the apartment, he was there to clean the jacuzzi, but it was after check in time and we had no notice. It was alarming to show up to someone in the house and it really scared the kids. The hot tub didn’t work either of the days, the owner knew and apologized but didn’t try to fix it in any way.Neither tv had a remote and when we did find one there was no batteries, we let the owner know and they responded right away they’d bring one by but never did and never got back to us. It wasn’t a big deal but it was raining and the kids needed something to do. The entire place needs a deep cleaning - walls, bathrooms, everywhere. While you could tell the sheets had been changed and towels washed, nothing really felt clean. This property is also lacking a lot of basics in the kitchen - a coffee maker, toaster. Etc would be nice to have on hand. This place has a lot of potential but needs a lot of work, time and cleaning to bring it to its full potential.

Worst VRBO rental

Run as fast as you can from this scam rental! They advertised luxury, responsiveness and cleanliness, what we got was a run down subterranean apartment with so many issues and a company that disconnected their number when we asked to get a refund after departing early. There were so many problems with this rental; AC that barely worked, sliding glass door that couldn’t lock, front door deadbolt lock broken, used towels and linens that were presented as being clean, water damage on wall and ceiling that they haven’t bothered to repair, both washing machines broken, protruding nail tips sticking out of cabinets, very unclean and the list goes on. I wish we could post photos and videos, because we have plenty, on VRBO reviews to show how truly bad this rental was. The company has disconnected their phone after we called to complain and refuse to respond to emails. My family has traveled a lot and have stayed in rentals all over North America and the Caribbean never have we encountered such a terrible rental and owner.

Great location but poor management attention to significant issues

This property (a main house with a guest house across a garden) is in a great location and was a nice-sized space for our large group of adults and children. We experienced major issues during our stay that were not properly addressed by management and they ended up materially impacting the experience. The dishwasher in the main house filled with water after the first use and was never repaired, so by the end of the week the water began to smell and we had to wash dishes by hand every day. For a group of 10 people on vacation, that ended up being a lot of work. The dishwasher in the second kitchen was not hooked up to water or power so it could not be used. A leak developed in the ceiling directly above the TV that was also never repaired. We had to keep the trash can underneath it for five days to collect the water coming down and eventually the water caused two ceiling lights to short circuit. The property itself was not very clean, could use some better upkeep, and the "amenities" provided are sparse. For example, one kitchen had no dishes/pots/pans/cups and the other was under supplied to the extent that cooking was almost impossible. We actually purchased some utensils, kitchen towels, dish soap, cleaning rags, and surface cleaner to make things easier. The dryer in the main house did not work. The kitchen sink and one of the bathroom sinks are not properly mounted in the counters around them. Another sink's drain was broken so after first use, the water filled up and stayed there the whole week. We found glass on the ground outdoors and a butcher knife was hidden underneath an outdoor sofa cushion. There were not enough bath towels for every person (and no hand towels or kitchen towels at all), no hand soap, no dish soap, or other cleaning products. Our socks got very dirty walking around in the house without shoes on. I alerted the management to these things and they started out being responsive. A cleaning crew came to clean again but there were issues with that as well (the cleaner brought their child with special needs to the house and was not able to finish the job). After repeated requests, the dishwasher full of water and the leaking ceiling were never repaired or addressed in any way. VRBO contacted the property owner/manager on my behalf twice and no response was received. Dealing with all of this had a real impact on our vacation and I would not recommend this property.

Spacious property at an excellent location

Super spacious, comfy beds and a location that can't be beat. Paid parking in garage in a little pricey but you really don't need a car at this location that's central to everything. Property manager was very helpful with our questions.
