Vicolo del Cefalo is a recently renovated one bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a historic Renaissance building, Palazzo Sacchetti. It benefits from an independent entrance on the alley by the same name, but due to its position as part of the mansion it is really on Via Giulia, minutes from Campo de’ Fiori and Piazza Farnese, with Trastevere, Castel Sant’Angelo, the Vatican, Piazza Navona all easily reachable on foot. It’s one of the best and most sought after areas in the city center, and it’s easy to see why!
This property is in the dominant tones of white and natural wood, with wooden floors in the main space, which serves as both a bedroom and dining/living room. The main feature here is a canopy which doubles up as a mezzanine, housing a second double bed.
Guests with mobility issues are welcome here and will find it easy to pass the two steps separating the accommodation from the street level, but they will surely choose the double bed under the canopy rather than the one on top. More generally speaking, we recommend this flat to young families or two couples of friends traveling together.
This main area can also be used as a workspace: a nice built-in closet will help stow away your equipment, or your suitcases and your Roman shopping!
The small kitchen is fully equipped and you can count on it to help you prepare quick meals during your stay in Rome: in addition to pots, pans, cutlery and other utensils, there is an oven, a microwave, an electric kettle, a toaster, a fridge with freezer compartment and a small dishwasher.
In the bathroom, complete with a shower, you will also find a washing machine.
Vicolo del Cefalo comes with independent heating in the winter, and an air conditioning system in the summer (the unit is located in the main area, where the beds are). In addition, guests will find a smart TV, so as to connect to their favorite streaming services, and a free Wi-Fi connection.
