Beach Club Resort & Spa, a full-service resort situated on 86 secluded acres of beachfront property, is an amenity-rich oasis of fun tucked into the peaceful coastal landscape of the Fort Morgan peninsula just minutes from all the attractions and fun in nearby Gulf Shores. This exclusive resort is perfect for all types of vacations ranging from getaways for two to large family gatherings. The beach spans 500 yards and there are chair rentals available for your enjoyment. Take advantage of the outdoor pool whenever you're not out on a long walk along the shoreline. We have stayed at the beach club before but first time in this unit. This unit really needs some attention and basic upkeep. Missing shelf in refrigerator, toilet paper holder in both bathrooms broken, very old, hard and dirty mattresses, light bulbs out, etc. I have stayed in a lot of rentals and the kitchen in this unit was the poorest stocked kitchen I have ever seen. If you like to save money and cook your meals, this unit is not for you. There were not even basic kitchen supplies such as sheet pans and pot holders. Underneath beds and furniture was filthy. There were old pills, empty chewing tobacco container, dirt, and fuzz. The pillows, beneath the pillow cases were brown and stained. We will return to the Beach Club but not this unit.

Property was nice but the room need some up grades

The room need new beds in all rooms the master bedroom bed is so hard you can bounce a quarter off it and the showers also need work dish washer wouldn't work will not book agin i travel alot and the bed was the worst bed iv ever steeped in

Beach club 507C

The property at the Beach club resort provided all of the amenities needed for our stay. Nice and clean on arrival. Laundry amenities provided. Patio furniture for enjoying outside seating. However the master suite bed was not comfortable. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was very low and took longer to heat up but the water pressure in the shower was very good. Bedroom and bathroom number two was nice and clean. We had an issue with the microwave in the kitchen but for the most part we enjoyed our vacation.

Bare minimum

I have stayed at the beach club for many years, my family also owns two condos there so I expected top of the line - this did not meet that standard. Furniture and tv in bedroom were very outdated, we got three flat pillows and a paper thing comforter and the bed was so uncomfortable. If you want the absolute bare minimum, this might be your place but for better quality I would go with a different option. They also aren’t going to let you check in one second before 4 so don’t even bother asking.

Great location, Furnishings need improvement

We loved our week at The Beach Club. The beach was clean & beautiful, and the pool was great too! The condo was a nice size and had a good layout for our family of 4. Pros: beautiful views of the beach, twin beds in second bedroom, large kitchen with lots of small appliances, washer & dryer in unit, 2 good sized bathrooms, overall very nice resort Cons: the condo unit was surface level clean, but had a few areas that needed deep cleaned or a fresh coat of paint, the water pressure wasn’t great, the mattresses were uncomfortable, and the kitchen cooking supplies were not as well stocked as anticipated. Overall, it just seemed like the unit hadn’t had more than basic upkeep completed in a long time. All things considered the unit was nice and worked well for our family. We would absolutely come back to The Beach Club and would consider renting this unit again.

Rented 2 Bed, Got 1 Bed

We rented a 2 bedroom condo, but we were only able to use one bedroom. The router for the Internet was in the wall of the 2nd guest bedroom. It was beeping nonstop, loudly. No sleep was to be had in this room. We called multiple times ,everyday , we were there. Finally on the 5th day, someone from Vacasa showed up up and reset the router Inside the wall. Many of the people we called were beyond rude ..Liz was fantastic

Disappointed in unit

We have been coming to beach club for years and this was by far the worse unit we have stayed in. At first it seemed fine, but as we kept discovering issue after issue it became frustrating. Sofa bed was completely broken and unusable, took us over a day to get in touch with someone through text, emails, and finally calling an 800 number. They finally brought us an air mattress to use, after having to sleep on a dirty, stained couch for 2 nights. Understood you cant replace a sofa bed quickly, but they should inspect the unit better and they would have known it was broken prior to arrival. The master bed was not comfortable at all. There wasnt enough blankets and pillow cases. We had to go buy hand towels and hot pads for the kitchen. The amenities in the unit need to replaced and/or updated. The bathtub wouldnt drain, so you would be knee high in water when showering, and the toilet paper dispenser was broken. Overall, the beach club itself is an amazing place and we will always keep coming back but will never book a place through vacasa or this unit again.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had stayed at the Beach Club before in the same Catalina building. We knew the grounds would be just as beautiful and the beaches were clean and perfect. Our unit was truly clean and really comfortable. The kids loved sleeping on the comfy pullout couch in the living room and waking up looking out at the ocean. We had the same joyful experience in the master bedroom. We were nervous about the bed being too firm but we slept so good. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed including some lovely Fiesta Ware! There were extra blankets and pillows. Literally the only complaint I have is there should really be more towels and wash cloths for a 2 bed 2 bath unit. Other than that we would have loved to have stayed there forever! Lovely views and clean comfortable place. We also love how quiet the Beach Club is and how not crowded it is. Just a short drive to the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores/Orange Beach and still close enough for good food! We recommend Tacky Jacks and while you’re there go on down and check out the cool Fort and museum!

Great place but beds were awful

The sheets were very sandy in master bedroom and the beds were so uncomfortable. We requested clean sheets which they brought that day so we appreciated that. However the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the twin beds rolled all over the room and didn’t lock down. Other than this, the unit was great. Would suggest an upgrade to a Smart TV at least in living room for kids streaming.

My review

This room needs updating very badly. It was clean as I requested and all the drains worked good. We had to request light bulbs for the second bath and the bedroom. The living room furniture is worn out. Like almost sitting on the floor. Very uncomfortable and no cushioning anywhere. The twin beds was very uncomfortable. Sagging mattress. Had to request linens for pull out couch. Was not a comfortable room. Also need new Teflon skillets. Replace living room furniture for comfort to sit on. Would not recommend staying in this room. Sorry. The commodes needs to be change to higher commodes so older people with knee problems can get up easier. Barbara

The Beach Club is first class

I’ve been spending my vacations in the Fort Morgan area for about 30 years. I stayed at The Beach Club this week for the first time and found my new home away from home. Everything was first class! I’ll definitely be back and recommend it to my friends.

Disappointed

We have stayed at the Beach Club for the past 5 years & this is the first time we have been sorely disappointed. We paid the same price that we have paid for much nicer units that didn’t have mold from leaks, rotten baseboards in the bathrooms, rusty bathroom fixtures, the most uncomfortable beds & a kitchen that was not stocked well at all. Very disappointing & will make sure this unit of on the do not stay again list.

Beautiful location away from town

The home was perfect for us. Great view! The Beach Club is really nice. The grounds are pretty and the activities at night were fun too. It is away from the crowds of Gulf Shores, however it is also away from the restaurants too. Over all, we would stay there again!

Beautiful Beach Resort

Great view of the beach, roomy balcony, easy, short walk to the beach, not crowded, Gulf Shore attractions probably 15-20 min. away, nice to have 2 bedrooms & 2 baths, could use some extra blankets, Only 1 restaurant on site was opened at the time for supper, & it was crowded, so we opted for take out. The food was delicious, about $20/ person? The Chicken Alfredo, Salmon, & tacos were all good. The floors could use some cleaning. The baby's knees and our feet were black (LOL). Great communication w/ guest services. Checked on us several times to make sure everything was ok. Appreciate that. We had a great stay & all wished we could stay longer. Hope to visit again soon.

Good stay

The condo had an amazing view. The property was wonderful. Condo could use some updates and deep cleaning, maybe some new linens. Process was smooth and communication was good! We enjoyed our stay!
