Our family friendly complex offers 3 community pools (one seasonally heated), Tennis/Pickleball, and a small pond at the heart of the complex. We're approximately 3/4 mile from public beach access, and walking distance to many restaurants, family activities, parks, and shopping!

“Tip'Sea Turtle" is a 1 bedroom condo with accommodations to sleep up to 6 guests. We have a King sized bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and a queen air mattress with all linens provided. Our design and thoughtful touches will have you feeling right at home for a short stay, or you family vacation!

While you're not beachfront & there isn't a fantastic view, the driving proximity to everything Destin can't be beat to live like a local! While we understand that our home may not be a good fit for everyone, we go above and beyond for our guest satisfaction!

**We cannot stress enough for all potential guests to read our listing & rules in full detail before booking, to ensure our place is satisfactory for your needs. While we have created a budget friendly, fresh, upbeat space inside, there are some limitations that are beyond our control. We understand that our home is not for everyone & want our guests to have the best experience when choosing to book with us**

Here's what it's like to stay at "Tip'Sea Turtle"....

When you arrive, you'll walk right in to the living room that boasts a comfortable commercial grade queen sleeper sofa & a fun printed accent chair for lounging. While we don't have a traditional dining table, guests can enjoy breakfast bar seating for meals or a workspace. With a full wall of sliding glass doors encompassing the living room the natural light is incredible! We've added a brand new Smart Tv with Cox Cable offered for our guests convenience. Guests can feel free to login to their own media (Netflix, etc) while traveling as well-we just ask that guests logout at departure.

The kitchen area has an open concept to the living room for enjoying your meals and time together. We've stocked this kitchen with a refrigerator (with ice maker), dishwasher, electric stovetop, and a large toaster oven. PLEASE know that we do NOT have a standard oven, it is a cooktop ONLY. We also have dishes, pots & pans, silverware, utensils, crockpot, blender, and a traditional coffee maker & Keurig! If you plan to cook during your trip, we encourage you to bring along any spices, condiments, & oils you may need as we do not provide any perishable or non perishable items. We have an easy to use high chair, cutlery, cups, and plastic dishes for our tiny travelers as well!

Directly off the living area you can find the bedroom with a cozy Serta King bed with an abundance of pillows for a comfortable nights sleep. A pack and play is in the condo for all families with little ones traveling-one less item to pack! A smart tv here is perfect for relaxing in bed watching your favorite shows at the end of the day. The closet stores two twin memory foam mattresses that can be brought out (with linens) if needed for sleeping accommodations.

The bathroom offers a standup shower, soft towels, and plenty of space to get ready in. We've designed this space with the comforts of home & not a cramped & cold hotel feel!

Our laundry room offers guests the convenience of a stackable washer and dryer for use during your stay. No need to visit the laundromat!


A few important things to keep in mind:
-Due to this being a residential complex, noise ordinances are at 10pm sharp. We do not permit excessive noise, parties, illegal activity, or disturbances at any time.
-While we do host groups 25 years or younger at our discretion, we must be notified before your confirmed booking. We do not host one night bookings for ages 25 and younger at any time.
-Smoking is not permitted on the balcony or near the building at any time.
-Any stay that a house trained pet will be included in MUST be disclosed when booking, as a pet fee of $50 is required. We do not accept more than 2 dogs, and pets must be crated when unattended and cleaned up after inside and out. Pets are not permitted on furniture at any time. ADA recognized service animals are not charged a pet fee, but ESA (Emotional Support Animals) are still subject to pet fee. False information regarding a service animal is against the law in our state, so we appreciate your honesty in this matter.
-We are NOT beachfront, you can't see the beach, you can't stick your toes in the sand from the front door, and you do have to get in your vehicle to drive to the PUBLIC beach access that is 3/4 mile from our condo. We do not have a gated or private beach access at this location.
-This is a mixed community with residential & short term guests alike. While the gated community itself is a "community in transition" with updates to the exterior being improved steadily, we do not have control over any "look" of the exterior of our condo. We have gone above & beyond to create a beautiful & cozy space INSIDE for our guests enjoyment!

PLEASE read our house rules in detail before booking. We take time to put important information here that we need each guest to take into consideration when booking our home. While not all items listed may apply to your stay, we host guests of various group compositions so must list all rules that could apply to a trip. Thank you for your understanding!
All guests MUST read our listing description in full before booking. This home is not a good fit for everyone, so we want to ensure you have a great stay.

-This complex is a community in transition. While the exterior of some of the buildings can be intimidating & maybe not what you may be expecting within a gated community (they were built in the 70's) please know that this is beyond our control. The grounds are cared for and monitored closely daily by the HOA. We take excellent care of the interior of our place & if you have concerns please contact us ASAP.
-This is a second floor unit, as indicated on our listing there are stairs to access this condo. There is no elevator access, and you must be able to use one flight of stairs to get to the condo. This is not a good fit for those with mobility issues.
-Trailer/RV/BoxTruck/Watercraft parking is not permitted at any time in our complex. Towing fees issued from the HOA do apply to any violation of this.
-Due to this being a residential complex, noise ordinances are at 10pm sharp. We do not permit excessive noise, parties, illegal activity, or disturbances at any time.
-Items cannot be hung from the balcony at any time, per HOA guidelines.
-Do not leave the balcony door open, as it mixes with the humid air it will cause the AC to freeze. Do not turn the AC below 68 degrees at any time.
-While we do host groups 25 years or younger at our discretion, we must be notified before your confirmed booking. We do not host one night bookings for ages 25 and younger at any time.
-Any stay that a house trained pet will be included in MUST be disclosed when booking, as a pet fee of $50 is required. -Checkout is 10AM, and any stay past this time will result in an additional day charge and an additional cleaning fee.
-Any and all issues must be disclosed prior to checkout, or guest is held liable for any damages. Property manager must be notified and given the ability to resolve any and all issues during stay, or guests accept responsibility of not disclosing in a timely manner. We do not issue refunds for lack of amenities (TV, internet, a/c, etc.) as these types of outages are beyond our control but we will do out best to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
