Quaint listing

Stayed at this home for 2 days during a race weekend at Mid Ohio racetrack. It was a quaint home that suited our needs for the weekend. The house was very clean upon arrival & has a nice deck off the back with a beautiful yard. The beds could use a refresher for a better nights sleep & the home is located on a busier street but has an awesome view of the Shawshank prison which was cool & when you were outside on the back deck, it was quite nice. All in all a pretty good stay for what we needed.

Wonderful stay at a great property

I was in town for a race weekend at Mid-Ohio and couldn't pass up an opportunity to stay across the street from the Shawshank prison. Take a tour, it's worth it. The home was in great condition, clean and comfortable. It was a great space to relax and unwind after sitting at the track all day. Plenty of cookware and toiletries were provided, nice kitchen to prepare meals as well. It was great to have garage access for my vehicle, knowing it was secure overnight. The property itself was wonderful with plenty of manicured green space behind the house. Even though I was sitting outside all day at the track, I enjoyed taking a short stroll through the woods each evening at dusk. I did not have an opportunity to use the outdoor grill, firepit, etc., but it was a nice touch having those as options. The hosts were always an email or phone call away, though I had no issues during my stay. I would not hesitate to stay at this property in the future.

Awesome place to stay!!!

I can’t say enough great things about our stay at the Shawshank House!!! Bernie, Courtney, and JP were great hosts. Super communication and so easy to work with. The house was just as described and better. We felt right at home. Don’t hesitate to book this VRBO when in the area. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks to our hosts for the terrific stay!!!
