Beach house just a few blocks from beautiful Crystal Beach on Bolivar Peninsula in the Holiday Beach subdivision. 3 bedroom to fit the whole family, or great for the girl's weekend! Outdoor space below for entertaining, and you also want to check out the ocean view and breeze from the decks above. Sleeps 8 comfortably, but feel free to bring an air mattress for the living room to fit 2 more!) Fully furnished, wi-fi included, and all towels and linens for bed and bath.
You can also work if needed while staying. We added a small desk, computer monitor, keyboard and mouse in the master bedroom so if you have to jump on a Zoom call or do a bit of email checking, you are set! (Wi-fi is the best we could get because I do work from here at times, but a helpful hint.. I always carry a mifi hot spot as back up.) We also do not have cable so TV is streaming services.

Pet under 20 lbs welcome for additional fee; we love our fur babies too! Great place for family to relax and enjoy and we would love to share our family beach house with you and yours!

We offer lots of "extras" like an outdoor movie projector and screen, swings, hammock, books and games, a high chair, travel crib packNplay, kids' plates/ cups, as well as all the basic essentials for the kitchen.

We also are happy to provide:

wash cloths
hand towels
kitchen towels
kitchen washcloths
hot pads
One sheet set per bed.

Perfect for any size family

My husband and I along with our 3 kids decided to take a trip and out of the places to chose from (which were also a lot higher) we thought this would be the best fit for us. WE WERE RIGHT! This home is amazing and providing everything we were looking for. It is spacious with an open kitchen/living room. It has 3 good sized bedrooms and 2 baths. Everything is provided for you like the basics of towels, kitchenware, down to even laundry detergent. Which brings me to the fact of having a washer and dryer was a bonus because it was nice to wash some clothes that were still wet from the beach. There is a wrap around porch upstairs which has a view of the ocean in the distance. The beach is only a 5 minute walk or you can drive down to it which was also nice. The parking pass was only $10 and is good for all year long! Downstairs is an outside shower which was much needed to wash all the sand off of us so we wouldn't track it inside the house cause noone wants sand everywhere lol. There is also a swing and hammock which my boys loved. There is also a huge picnic table that was perfect for the outdoor projector they provide you with to watch movies! Karen was so helpful for any questions I had. She made me feel more like family then a guest. I never leave reviews but we had such a wonderful experience I had to leave one. We are going to take another vacation next year and will definitely be staying at the Tipsy Turtle again.

A beautiful home!

When I walked I was so excited because I immediately felt like I walked into a home, not a rental. It was beautifully decorated, warm, comforting, and inviting. Awesome location, we can’t wait to stay there again next summer! Karen kept in contact with us the whole time to ensure our needs were being addressed!

Perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

We have always stayed in Galveston… never again. If you want to have a relaxing atmosphere, this is the place to be! We walked to the beach a couple times and rented a golf cart too. I’d recommend either one! The property was super nice and in a good neighborhood close enough to the grocery store in town. The owners are above and beyond helpful and nice about everything we communicated about. They have provided everything necessary for the perfect getaway with extras as a cherry on top! Beach toys, tiki bar, outdoor projector, giant connect four, awesome outdoor furniture and tiki bar. Book it!!!!!

The Tipsy Turtle- Perfect for family fun

Our family had the best vacation at the Tipsy Turtle! We had everything that we needed, plenty of room, close to the beach, and enjoyed a family movie night with the outdoor movie screen and projector! The breeze at the downstairs tiki bar and on the second level deck was great. We normally have issues with mosquitos at Crystal Beach and didn’t have any this year at this property! Karen is available to answers all questions and was great about communicating during our stay. Our family highly recommends staying at the Tipsy Turtle! It felt like a home away from home!

Welcome! We are so happy you are looking to enjoy one of our favorite places to have a weekend getaway! Being a native Texan I have grown up with Texas beaches as our "go to" family vacation spot to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city and hear those relaxing waves and the sound of the kids on the beach. Now we are able to have this home for our own kids and grandkids and hope you too will make wonderful memories during your stay at The Tipsy Turtle.

We love playing host and hope you have everything you need. If you don't, just give us a call and we will see how we can help. The Tipsy Turtle is a hop, skip, and a jump from the beach (5 minute walk) and the road next to us has beach access so you can drive your car or golf cart easily to the sand and surf. Our deck faces the beach and you will catch glimpses of the waves, as well as be able to hear them as the day calms. Family friendly. pet friendly, and we are constantly updating our "must haves" to make this a perfect vacation destination.

Hva gjør dette overnattingsstedet unikt?

We are HIGHLY family oriented and love sharing our family home with you and yours. We have a pack and play, high chair, outdoor movie projector and screen, and downstairs "hang out" for when you are beached-out, or its a rainy day and you want to stay in. (We are in the process of adding a downstairs seating set, swings and a hammock for some R&R. There is a grill and tiki bar also!
We are pet friendly for dogs under 20lbs and will provide bowls and dog blanket/ towels so you can save car space when packing to visit.
