It's well-equipped with everything you and your guests could ever need to spend an unforgettable time together. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, including stainless steel appliances and a shiny breakfast bar, central air-conditioning, a private balcony with terrific views of the community tennis court and beach, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

This beachfront condo is ideally located within walking distance of various dining and shopping options; you can also take the bus for hassle-free travel to your favorite destinations. The historic Ocean City Boardwalk, with its carnival atmosphere, great food, and superb nightlife, is located five miles south. You can also plan a fun family day at Jolly Roger Amusement Park and Splash Mountain Waterpark, only four miles south.

The indoor pool will be closed from 2/19/24 through 3/22/24 (dates subject to change).
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Complimentary building-provided WiFi is a courtesy and not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Overall great place to stay

This was our second year in a row at the Golden Sands. I liked the linen service and the deck view of the ocean. The unit itself could use some minor updates ie: ceiling fans, bathroom mirror (I couldn’t figure out why there were two in the master side by side) and the rug in the living room area could probably be replaced. There were crumbs from previous renters in it and I could tell that it was difficult to clean for the service because I attempted to vacuum it myself and due to the Shag it wasn’t really easy. All in all, it was clean and set up for convenience for a week stay for my family of four. We will likely return and would rent this same unit again if presented with the opportunity.

Great Beach Vacation Spot!

This was our first time staying at Golden Sands and using Vacasa and both were great experiences. The check in process was super easy (there is a box out front of the property with your parking pass/key to condo etc). If you need an additional parking spot you can buy at the front desk ($140/week) or there is a municipal lot a few blocks away for $50/week. There are 4 elevators in the building. The only time they were busy was check in on Saturday. Lots of people with carts checking in. But the rest of the week they came really fast. The property is right on the ocean with so many amenities. Arcades, ice cream store, mini market, tiki bar (with tons of outside seating), shuffleboard, pickleball, tennis, an indoor and outdoor pool and so much more. The views from 701 were incredible. Balconies to see both bayside and ocean (sunrise and sunsets!). We saw dolphins from the balcony daily. The kids room with the double bunks were perfect for our 3 kids - and they enjoyed the bean bag seats and having a tv in their room. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook with for the week. Dishwasher, washer and dryer were great to have too! We had 4 adults and 3 kids in the condo and there was plenty of room for all of us. We would definitely stay here again.

Pass on this spot - dirty and broken

Great location and building had lots of amenities. The condo itself was very dirty upon arrival (floor sandy, unswept, not washed), kitchen counters dirty, microwave and coffee makers gross as could be. I am still wondering what my cleaning fee paid for and if I should have even trusted sleeping in the sheets. The master shower broke twice during our stay and literally gave us just one day of usage after the initial repair. The hallway shower had low water pressure and a part needed to be ordered, so not repaired during our stay. Also, that blue rug in the picture- the vacuum in the unit didn’t work on it and it contained so many gross things from what is likely countless prior visitors. Pass on this unit and maybe have better luck with a different one in the building.

Okay condo, kind of dingy

We arrived and checked in and were told to get our check in packet from the lockbox outside but was never given a code. An employee standing outside assisted. Then we got into the condo and it had dirty and sticky kitchen counters. There was only toilet paper and dish soap in one bathroom and no trash bags available. The next morning there was no hot water and the garbage disposal was clogged. I responded to a text about the cleanliness and thankfully received a response because the phone line wasn’t answering. We hunted around and finally noticed that the breaker for the hot water had been flipped. The maintenance man came and provided toilet paper and trash bags. He was able to fix the disposal there (was a screw in it). He said sometimes the hot water is turned off to conserve energy. There was no note or information about that. The living room furniture was a bit worn. The kids room was cute and the bunk beds were a hit. The kitchen supplies/appliances could use an update (the grease tray for the griddle was missing, only one spatula, plates and bowls were all chipped). It felt like a lot of money for an average stay.
