Located in Tampa's West Riverfront neighborhood, a vibrant area populated with young professionals, University of Tampa faculty, families and diverse long time residents, this home is an easy walk to Downtown Tampa's premier riverfront parks , attractions, restaurants, pubs & the Tampa Riverwalk. A long established neighborhood adjacent to Downtown Tampa and just north of the Historic Hyde Park District, it boasts a mix of single family homes, condos, apartments, restaurants and light commercial offices; as well as drop-in, friendly drinking establishments and nearby breweries. The West Riverfront neighborhood has reached “critical mass” as the place to work, live and play. As such, new residential homes are being constructed, which may occasionally result in light construction noise.
The neighborhood has a very high "walk-able" and biking index as most errands can be accomplished on foot, with an abundance of sights and fun activities also within easy walking and biking range. Live like a local at some of our favorite nearby local places and activities including:
Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park - Tampa’s newest large riverfront park features picnic pavilions, a children’s water park, public tennis courts, dragon boat river center, open-air table tennis, chess, bocce ball, wide open green spaces, and is an ideal location for quality family time. Its tree and bench lined riverfront affords magnificent daytime cityscape views of the Downtown Tampa skyline and the Riverwalk, as well as colorful nightscapes providing the perfect backdrop for romance or quiet introspection. Our favorite piece of public art in the park is The Form of Wonder (a.k.a The Canopy) by artist Marc Fornes. From Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, it is only a 5-10 minute walk across the Hillsborough River to the Tampa Riverwalk and downtown attractions. Browse for treasures at Schiller's Architectural and Design Salvage on the walk to the park.
Downtown Tampa - The Tampa Riverwalk is the city’s premiere riverfront entertainment attraction; connecting the Tampa Heights/Armature Works (a converted former electric trolley maintenance center) on the northern edge of Downtown Tampa with the Water Street/Channelside District southeast of downtown terminating at The Florida Aquarium.
