Your 9th-floor rental is located in the Luau at Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort with abundant amenities that include a heated 4,000 square-foot saltwater lagoon pool, two hot tubs, kiddie pool with a fountain, fitness center, grill pavilion, and a seasonal poolside tiki bar serving snacks and frozen beverages. The Polynesian-inspired resort grounds boasts a spectacular location with direct beach access, panoramic Gulf and Choctawhatchee Bay views from a rooftop sunset deck, as well as complimentary resort transportation. The kitchenette features a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. Sip morning coffee at the dining nook with seating for two. Resort amenities include a huge heated pool, two hot tubs, kiddie pool, fitness center, rooftop deck, grill pavilion, and seasonal poolside bar. Parking is available for one vehicle in the covered parking garage. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided. Coin-operated facilities are available.

Pool was nice and walk to beach was short. Building has 2 elevators, one of which was out-of-order all week making the other full a lot. Had to walk the 9 flights of stairs several times to avoid long waits. There were 2 separate doors with codes to get into the room and the second door code was 11 digits (have no idea why so long), so was very inconvenient. Existing condition of the property is not as it appears in the ad picture. I am assuming it is an older picture from when the property was much newer. Existing has stained carpet, well worn furniture, etc. We enjoyed our stay, but won't return to this particular property.

DO NOT RENT FROM VACASA!

Many challenges here! This is not the pictured property A/C does not work Gate code was not correct for entry Carpet and bedding is filthy and stained We spent much of our vacation time contacting Vacasa to get access to the unit and for them to address the issue of the A/C not working. It had not been serviced since 2017! Not even a filter change or cleaning… the room was a constant humid 85 degrees with lights off and curtains closed. The resort has nice amenities and things to do, which was THE ONLY saving grace while staying in this unit. We met several nice guests who visit this resort every year. Our recommendation: book direct with the resort or with an owner who services and maintains the property. You will have a much more enjoyable stay.

Do not recommend

I had high hopes for this hotel but unfortunately we were terribly disappointed. First the ac did not work well. It was over 90 degrees outside in Florida but the ac did not work. Secondly, the room service was horrible. We tried to ask for new towels and clean bed spreads but we were told to call the management. After we found the number through researching, we were put on hold for hours. They did not provide us with fresh towels, bed sheets, etc for a whole week. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone that is expecting a fresh and relaxing vacation. I paid almost $1,500 for this trip and it was not worth it.
