This 3 bed/ 2 bath ranch boasts a private, heated pool & boat dock on a Tampa Bay canal - kayaks & paddleboards included.
The colorful kitchen fully opens to the lanai, & the huge pool provides all-day entertainment for kids and adults alike.
Central location for easy day trips to Gulf Beaches, Tampa, Orlando, etc.
Stocked by a Mama with kid amenities for easy family traveling!

Our cheerful home is the perfect getaway for much needed rest and relaxation, or fun filled days in the sun with your family and friends! Our home is stocked full of amenities and necessities so you can sit back and relax and enjoy your stay.
The sprawling patio features a large lap-style pool overlooking the canal with plenty of outdoor seating. Fire up the grill for poolside snacks , swap stories across the waterfront firepit, and enjoy your coffee sitting on the calm dock watching the sunrise.
Apollo Beach is a residential, coastal community 30 mins South of downtown Tampa and all the Bay area's many sights and attractions! Our backyard canal leads directly into Tampa Bay - book a charter to pick you from the dock, or spend the day exploring the waterways by kayak or paddleboard. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins and manatees!

Apollo Blue Details:
We have filled our home with everything you will need for a comfortable family vacation!
Outdoor living: Lanai with covered dining area, heated pool (80 degrees), temporary pool safety fence available, indoor/outdoor kitchen island, gas grill, private boat dock and floating dock, kayaks and paddleboards, pool floaties, firepit with Adirondack chairs, and kid-friendly, natural sand area!

Kitchen: Fully equipped with cooking and dining basics for enjoying meals at home. Large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave. Big pantry, indoor / outdoor breakfast bar with seating, and dining tables inside and outside. Traditional drip coffee maker, blender, wine opener, cutting boards, knife block, pots and pans, and grill utensils.

Additional Amenities: Free WIFI, 2 Smart TVs, Cable, onsite washer/dryer, multi-size life jackets, cooler, ample outdoor seating, pool lounge chairs and towels, luggage racks, hangers, blow dryer, portable tower fans, work desk for two (no computer).

Family friendly amenities: Changing pad, pack-n-play, temporary bed bumpers, sleep cot, highchair seat, baby bathtub, removable pool safety fence, pop up outdoor playpen, umbrella stroller, toys, books and games, kids’ utensils and plastic kitchenware.

*Tampa is an easy 30-40 minute drive into all the city has to offer!
*We are within an hour drive to many gorgeous Gulf Coast beaches (St Pete, Siesta Key, Clearwater & Anna Maria) - makes a great day trip!
*Busch Gardens is an easy commute (about 30 minutes)!
*Disney and the heart of Orlando is just over an hour drive.

Apollo Beach Activities:
*Circles and Finns are 2 delicious restaurants overlooking the marina & are walking distance from our house.
*Apollo Beach Plaza is less than 2 miles away and complete with Publix, CVS, Starbucks, UPS and many options for restaurants and local shops.
*Watch the stunning Florida sunset over the Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg skylines from the Apollo Beach Nature Preserve beach or lookout tower, a quick 1.5 mile stroll from home (no swimming allowed).
*Less than 5 minutes to the well-maintained Apollo Beach Park and Community Center, which features many amenities including a playground, splash pad, sport courts and a skate park.
*Stop by the nearby Manatee Viewing Center to view Manatees in their natural habitat or pet a stingray! Tampa Electric's award-winning Manatee Viewing Center is open November 1 - April 15, and it’s FREE!
*Little Harbor is a small resort community 20 minutes south and offers a free, swimmable beach, 2 excellent restaurants, and beautiful grounds to explore.

Best Vrbo Experience

Our stay was a blast. Daughter loved the sand pit (16 months). Beds super comfortable, space was clean and there were supplies you would not normally expect with a vrbo rental. Kids toys were also nice. You could definitely tell they have had kids or grand kids. The adults loved it too. Plenty of lounge seating on the patio. Nice open spacing inside. I couldn't say enough good things! We would definitely look to rebook in the future.

Wonderful host and property!

My husband and I were in town for a weekend family event, so our stay was short, but oh so very comfortable and enjoyable! Kristen was an excellent and pleasant host; replied to queries upon booking, sent timely information prior to checking in, and promptly answered a query I had during my stay. As for the house itself, it was super clean and just as described in the listing. Pantry has some good basics, as well as cooking items (measuring cups!! -- other rentals i've made don't seem to include these). Minor recommendation might be to replace current skillet, as it's a little overused at this point, but that was very minor. We were able to lounge by the pool, use the BBQ, and kayak out on the canal in the early afternoon (don't forget the mosquito spray like we did though!) This home would be a great base for couples like ourselves, or families with young children -- there isn't a lot of clutter, which is great (so that there isn't any danger of breaking something). Generous supply of towels and linens. Clear and accurate information provided throughout -- everything is so well-organized. I would happily return here, or recommend this rental to friends!

Great little home for families traveling with children

My husband and I stayed at Apollo Blue for 5 nights with our two young children. The house was comfortable and included amenities that made traveling with kiddos a little easier. It was appreciated to find several bottled waters in the fridge and a number of kids books and toys that they enjoyed throughout our stay. I had messaged Kristen and asked if it was possible to have the pool safety fence set up prior to our arrival and that was accommodated no problem. We used the pool every single day (perfect temperature, very clean) and also enjoyed a morning kayak trip. Several meals were enjoyed on the lanai and we had our coffee most days out on the dock. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We made day trips to the Tampa Zoo, Florida Aquarium, and Busch Gardens and all were about 30-35 mins. It was wonderful having full laundry and a trial size of detergent available, too.
