Whispering Pine Hideaway.

Nestled in the beautiful Goose Island Hideaway gated community in Cherry Log, GA and conveniently located between Blue Ridge and Ellijay, GA (both just 10 minutes away). Once you arrive at Whispering Pine Hideaway, you’ll be surrounded by all nature has to offer…beautiful landscape and endless mountains. This cabin has plenty of outdoor space for you to enjoy with five separate areas to relax.

As you drive up to the Whispering Pine Hideaway cabin you’ll enter through the large, paved circular driveway, providing easy in-and-out access. Check out the various friendly animals including several geese that welcome you. The front porch is the first of five seating areas with a porch swing and comfortable outdoor furniture.

Inside you will find a large open floor plan with all the comforts of home and more! A newly renovated kitchen with quartz countertops, copper sink, gas stove and oven, wine refrigerator, and high-quality appliances. The kitchen is set up for cooking all your favorite meals and a coffee bar, including a Keurig. Relax in the open living room with cushy leather seating, gas fireplace and 55” Smart TV. One of the best parts of the living room is taking in the large, vaulted ceilings.

The dining room includes a unique rustic table with seating for 6 and additional seating for 4 at the kitchen island. Connected to the kitchen, and through a convenient Dutch door, you’ll find the outside screened porch, including lovely patio seating, a gas barbeque, and an outdoor 43” Smart TV.

On the main level of the cabin, you will find one of two master suites boasting a white pine log king-size bed, 43” Smart TV, and a private screened deck perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee while listening to the birds and wildlife. The master bedroom includes an en suite with a porcelain-enameled cast iron, freestanding bathtub, and separate tiled shower.

Proceed upstairs to the loft with a queen-size bed and large dresser. The upstairs also includes the second master suite with plenty of storage space, a 43” Smart TV, and an en suite with an oversized walk-in shower and private vanity.

Down to the lower level, prepare for a friendly game of ping pong or foosball, or watch a movie on the 78” Smart TV. A full bathroom is just around the corner with a second porcelain-enameled cast iron, freestanding bathtub. The fourth bedroom is just off the game room with two sets of beautiful Wisconsin white pine, log bunk beds.

Working remotely? The downstairs also includes a private office with hi-speed wifi/internet and additional seating. From the lower level, you can also step outside for a soak in the 8-person hot tub, lounge in the lower-level patio area with two large patio heaters and gas firepit. Walk further down the stone pathway to a second wood-burning fire pit and tranquil waterfall and pond, or enjoy a good book in the hammock while enjoying the sights and sounds of the great outdoors. Just a little further down from the hammock you’ll find a fantastic zip line that the kids will love.

The cabin includes central heating and air conditioning throughout. In case of a power outage, the cabin is equipped with an automatic generator system. A tankless water heater provides endless hot water. No cold showers here!

ATTENTION – As Goose Island Hideaway is a private, gated community, and for the safety of residents and guests alike, each new guest will be asked to provide information, including vehicle, driver’s license, and contact information. Again, this is requested by the community for the safety of everyone. IN ADDITION, this information is needed in order to supply you with your party’s private gate code(s) to enter the main gate during your stay.

NOTE: We allow pets, dogs only. There is a one-time, non-refundable pet fee of $150 for each dog. Limit of 2 dogs.

SECOND NOTE: Firewood is NOT provided, so be sure to bring your own firewood for the outdoor fire pit.
