Enjoy a great getaway at our cozy cabin on Nelson Lake in Hayward, Wisconsin. The cabin is just 8 minutes from town and conveniently close to the local snowmobile and four-wheel trails, where you can head in numerous directions and play in thousands of acres in forests and trail rides for days on end. This cozy cabin is perfect for a quick getaway and provides endless opportunities to enjoy Northern Wisconsin’s beauty. The cabin is ~8-10 miles from Fish Hatchery Trailhead and Mosquito Book trail, which is great for hiking, mountain biking, and fat tire biking. The outdoor firepit and private patio are ideal for relaxing while BBQing on the grill and enjoying the beautiful view of the lake.

Nelson Lake has 2,716 acres in Sawyer County, with a maximum depth of 33 feet and multiple public boat landings. There is also a private dock slip available upon request. It’s a wonderful fishing lake any time of year – great for largemouth bass, crappie, blue gill, northern, and most well known for the walleye. Serenity at its finest, all you need to do is show up, relax, and enjoy the fun!
 
Our fully furnished cabin features two bedrooms and one bath. The kitchen is freshly remodeled and fully stocked with everything you need, including full dish sets, pots & pans, baking accessories, cooking utensils, etc. The first bedroom includes a queen bed and dresser, and the second has bunk beds (double and twin). You're supplied with fresh linens, bath towels, and bathroom essentials during your stay to provide exceptional comfort. The living room also has a double pull-out couch if needed, a TV and DVD player, and select DVDs for you to enjoy. We also have free Wi-Fi and Apple TV.
 
Parking is included, along with 2 complimentary kayaks & a pontoon available for rent.
