Horrible!!!!

The place was falling apart! Framing around the door was coming apart, the toilets were clogged, the sink was stopped up., and the towel rack was barely hanging on. We paid to much for this dump!!!

Has Potential but needs some work

I don’t ever leave a review this in depth but due to the conditions of the condo and for the money we paid it needs to be addressed to let other potential renters know what to expect. Our trip started arriving at Myrtle Beach after a 2.5 hour drive to receive a call from Vacasa informing us that the room we rented was no longer available due to a maintenance issue with the room. We were given an alternative location 4.5 miles from the beach which only sleep four and we had a party of eight. After ignoring their request to move us, we headed to the hotel to check in regardless of the issue. Come to find out after speaking with the incompetent building manager that works directly for Vacasa at Myrtle Beach, he informed us that there was an issue with the electronic door lock. He informed me I need to contact Vacasa for alternate locations and then proceeded to get lippy with me because I was frustrated and hung up on me and texted me the number to contact Vacasa. We said screw it…we are staying here and headed up to the room. I was able to fix the maintenance issue by straighten the incorrectly installed lock, and it worked just fine. However, after dealing with Vacasa and the Vacasa building manager, we weren’t able to get into our room until 2.5 hours after check in time. I spoke with Vacasa around 8pm the night we checked-in and was thanked for fixing the lock, however, I think a 10%-15% comp on the stay cost would have been merited. After getting in the room on the 18th floor with beautiful views of the ocean, the inside was a little disappointing at first site to say the least. The room is extremely outdated and needs a good bit of work…looks like nothing has been update since the early 2000s. Additionally, the room was not cleaned prior to our arrival, there was still sand all over the floor from the last guests and one of the living room chairs had big wet spot on the cushion. There was also only three rolls of the cheapest toilet paper money can buy in the entire unit and one paper towel roll. Starting in the kitchen, the fridge is at least 20 years old with rust on most of the shelves. Be sure to bring additional plates, utensils and cookware if you plan on cooking food. We only cooked breakfast everyday so it wasn’t a big issue. One of the forks in the drawer were one of those plastic ones that look like a real fork that were left for us. There is limited cookware available for use and the ones in the unit are appear seco

Last Visit

I got a phone call after 4pm check in saying that the property wasn’t available & they wanted us to leave. My party was already unpacked in the condo & had traveled from all over to be there. Then one of the sinks didn’t drain, towel rod had fallen off the wall & the toilet paper rod was missing. Overall a bad experience.

Family Vacation

Plenty of room for the 7 of us. Balcony was full length of the condo with a great view of the ocean. Kitchen was nice and roomy with plenty of counter space and a nice area when you walk in to put your beach items so they are out of the way.
