You can't beat the location; Walk/Bike to nearby grocery store, the Legacy Bike trail/Payne Pk, Downtown Main Street restaurants/shops/theatre and Selby Gardens. The nearby free trolley goes down Main St and over to St Armands Circle to Lido Beach. We are close to Sarasota Bayfront's park, waterfront playground, walking trails, Tiki Bar, restaurants/marina/boat cruises/ & fishing excursions and Selby Gardens.. Siesta Key Village and Beach is a short drive. Kayak, Boat and Bike rentals are nearby and Bike rentals will deliver.
Down the street you'll find Payne park that has a children's playground, running track, Frisbee golf, Tennis and a Cafe with music Friday eves. Home is equipped with beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, & toys for your convenience. There is a blow up bed if needed to accommodate a 5-6 guest.. There is parking for oversized vehicles - RV or boat. Very central location close to Golf courses & Baltimore Orioles Spring Training . There's no need to stay on the beach to enjoy all that Sarasota has to offer. After all, no matter where you stay the beaches are only minutes away. The mainland is home to many of the attractions and activities that add depth and character to Sarasota vacations.
Off the islands, Sarasota is defined by a rich and varied arts scene that belies the size of the city. There's the famous John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, featuring an enormous selection of paintings -- including one of the largest collections of Rubens in the world. Visit the Ca' d'Zan mansion and the Circus museum.
We have Opera in the historic Sarasota Opera House, the Sarasota Ballet and Sarasota Orchestra. National touring shows in the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. For theatre lovers there is the Asolo, Florida Studio theatre, West Coast Black theatre just to mention a few.

Kayak in and around the mangroves. Look for Manatees, Dolphins, Pelicans and all of the bird life that call it home here.

Sarasota has some of the most extensive public park lands in the state, including the incomparable Myakka State.
