The house was as described with lots of space. The garage was a nice perk, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It is walking distance to Universal Studios if you are ok with an uphill walk. Because we had younger kids, we opted to drive, and it was fast and easy with no traffic. The house is conveniently located near restaurants but still in a quiet neighborhood. The host, Shawn, was quick to respond if we had any questions.

Shawn was very responsive in responding to all of our questions. Parking was limited. Our SUV had to park at a diagonal in the garage, we had to park the other vehicle down the street. The first floor has a sofa bed in the living room by the kitchen. Three of the bedrooms are up a flight of stairs. Downstairs is another couch that doubles as a bed. There was only one set of extra sheets for the two "sofabeds". The beds in the bedroom were comfortable and the location was great!

We had a great stay! The house was clean, exactly as described, and had plenty of room for our family of 7 adults. The location was perfect for visiting Universal Studios, and the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend this home!

Our family had amazing stay here. Host communicated quickly & went above & beyond when our family ran into an issue with a different property and had to find another house same day. Host organized cleaning and helped us check-in within hours of booking. House was clean & comfortable. Location was incredible and convenient for trip to universal. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful experience renting from Shawn. He was quick to communicate and respond. The house was perfect for our family of 6 traveling to CA to visit Universal Studios. Universal family trip

Perfect Family Stay

Great stay for multi generational family celebrating my daughter’s birthday. A couple hiccups but the owners are amazing at communicating. The home is not quite walking distance to Universal, possible, but not on the same side of freeway and we didn’t want to walk on busy street with our kids. We all said we would stay again in a heart beat.

Amazing property!!!

My family enjoyed our stay while traveling to universal studios Hollywood. Our Vrbo property was clean, easy to access, relaxing, and just what needed from a long day of walking around an amusement park!!!!

Comfy stay for an extended family of 8!

I was looking for a last-minute vacation rental for 4 adults and 4 children for a Universal Studios trip and got so lucky to have found this place! It is walking distance to the theme park, and you can see the parking structure from the window, although due to the parking situation as well as having an elderly person and 4 little children under 8 years old, we opted to drive over anyway. We had an SUV and a large truck with us, and I knew only one would fit in the garage based on the owner's instructions and previous reviews. The owner mentioned parking on side streets or a parking garage, but the street parking signs were a bit confusing - some required a permit, others stated no parking between 8am-6pm, and others stated 2 hour parking between 8am-6pm. We ended up parking the truck in the evenings in the after 6pm spots, and moving the truck before 8am. One spot is right in front of the property, so that was a plus. We initially tried the parking structure, however, Google Maps has it pointing to the Nissan dealership, whereas the structure is on the other side of the street. Looking online, you think you can get parking for $1.25 for 2 hours, but the rate is actually $1.25 per 15 minutes! So we got charged $8 for <2 hrs of parking. Basically, if you just have one mid-sized car, you're golden. Other than that, the owner was so attentive and responsive via the booking app! Communication was very professional. Home was well stocked and the kids loved it!

Great location for Universal Studios and Hollywood

Perfect location for people going to universal studios and the hollywood area. Walkable to the park - but mostly uphill (or drive over in 2-3 mins). Kitchen was well appointed - including 2 coffee machines, toaster & tea kettle - which made for a pleasant stay. All three bedrooms on second floor were nice with HUGE closets. Very comfortable beds in all. Downstairs bonus room/4th bedroom was bigger than expected! Great for family gathering to watch TV - and great with its own bathroom. The full size sofa bed was very comfy. And the small outdoor area off this room was a nice bonus. While it is close to the highway, there is very little noise. And if you are an In-and-Out fan, there is one walking distance (the drive-thru line in insane!) Property manager (Sean) was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. Two small notes for future renters: 1. Stairs - there are lots of stairs (I believe my mom counted 38) which could be challenging for young children or guests of advanced age. They are a bit steep. 2. garage is quite small so likely only can really hold one car when the garbage cans are not out on the curb. Our family would stay here again.
