Your Smoky Mountain Cottage Home

You have found your perfect Smoky Mountain escape. Our cottage is tucked away on a lake community right in the Smoky Mountains and offers you all modern day amenities and conveniences with Great Smoky Mountains National Park literally in our back yard. We are perfectly located for hiking with the trail heads to Cade's cove and Abrams Falls both only about 1/2 mile from the cottage. Come submerge yourself in the nature on the peaceful side of the Smokies.

Townsend is only about 20-25 minutes away via one of the most scenic drives in the Eastern US, Foothills Parkway. Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Knoxville are all less than an hour's drive and perfect for day trips that can be concluded with your escape back to the beauty and serenity of our verdant nature paradise.

Our quaint cottage is on it's own private side road with plenty of sleeping space, full kitchen and everything you need for meal preparation including all necessary condiments, and high speed internet. Extra large capacity Maytag washer and dryer with detergent available. Outdoor hammock with fire pit and evening string lights for ambience. Come start your day in nature enjoying the quiet on the porch with your morning tea, coffee or espresso; and end your day with a glass of wine by the outdoor fire. Your stay with us gets you lake access at the community recreation area that also has bathrooms, basketball courts and a covered pavilion for picnics.

We also have kayaks available for you to rent and use on the lake.

My husband and I live right around the corner and will be available to help you with anything you need during your time with us.

Nice Mountain getaway

We enjoyed our weekend stay in this cozy cottage. The property lived up to its description, was clean, and provided all necessary conveniences. A short walk or drive provided lake views. Very peaceful!

Another perfect stay

This was the second time this summer, that I stayed at this cottage and just like the first time, everything was wonderful. We like it so much that we are actually planning on trying to stay here again next year. The hosts are very accommodating and respond very quickly to issues that you contact them about. The cottage is very clean and well stocked and we were very happy with our girls weekend there.

Will definitely be going back

This property is exactly like the pictures, but better. I usually expect a a weathered look but walking in, I thought it was just remodeled, yes after I a day or two you see a paint chip or scuff mark but the is the cleanest, best kept and welcoming home I have ever rented and I can't wait to go back. We had a hiccup with the WiFi but the owner came over and helped immediately when we contacted them. They have thought of so much to help make the stay more comfortable and I truly appreciate their efforts. I didn't realize, when I booked it, that this cute cottage was located walking distance from a stunning lake, I will bring my kayaks next time. I booked it for the quiet, I live in a town by a noisy gas station and railroad tracks so I wanted the trees and quiet and I got it. Some dogs barked but not all the time and you can barely see another house. This place was heavenly to me.

Perfect hide away in the mountain

Very satisfied with the experience and the location of the cabin. Can be in the national park quickly and the views nearby are amazing. Would definitely stay here again loved every minute of it!

Home away from home.

Nicely renovated home in the woods! What this house doesn’t have in views is made up for with a nice coffee bar and other amenities. 4 of us had no issues with only one bath and it was nice to have a mirror in the master to put on makeup/fix hair. Place was clean, minus some sheets that were taken care of by the host. Nice that we could bring our grand-dog, but a neighborhood dog barked 24/7, so suggest bringing a fan/sleep machine to drown that out! Close to great trout fishing and attractions in Pigeon Forge.

Absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend!

This house was perfect for us! We wanted a quiet weekend to get away from the city and enjoy the fall. It was exactly that! So peaceful with beautiful scenery and an amazing setup at the house. The hosts were very thoughtful and included everything you’d ever need! The campfire outside was our favorite part!! Hope to be back!

Three "R's" weekend!

We just needed a weekend to unwind and relax. This property gave us that opportunity. Plenty of "Restin', Relaxin' and Readin". Lots of things to do in the surrounding area but we enjoyed a hot cup of coffee, a good book and time on the front porch. Thanks for a great and much needed weekend. An Awesome Getaway!

Nice place to stay!

This cute home was very clean and updated! The owners had extras that made our stay very relaxing and easy to get away; washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen pans and utensils, coffee maker and espresso machine, oils to cook with and condiments. We enjoyed the hammock and the fire pit. The roads up there wind around a lot so be aware of that. Loved our stay!

Cute and cozy

Kelsey and Kevin were wonderful host. They had great communication and live right around the corner if you need anything! The cabin is very cute and cozy with lots of little touches that make it feel like home! The lake is only a short drive or walk away, I would recommend bringing water shoes as the beach is very rocky. Kelsey and Kevin truly thought of everything from tons of condiments in the fridge, multiple sunscreen and bug spray options, fire weeps and charcoal, and plenty of bath and beach towels. We definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back! Just a little fyi the road you have to take to reach the cabin is pretty steep and winding!

Everything you need and more.

This house has everything you need and more. We loved everything about it inside and out. The master bed was very comfortable. We also loved that we got to bring our dog. Because what’s vacation without the ones you love the most. We will definitely be back in the near future.

PERFECT GETAWAY!

If you are looking for a place to turn everything off and relax away, look no further! It has the privacy and outdoors of camping, but all the luxuries of home. The hosts are FANTASTIC, to the little touches they have to make sure your stay is perfect and have everything you need to the communication and prompt replies. The lake is wonderful and feels great to just relax for the day. We throughly enjoyed the hammock and fireplace outside as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. We would most definitely book this cottage again!

Nice mountain home

The home is exactly as it appears in the pictures... newly remodeled and very comfortable. Kelsey thought of everything when it came to amenities including my favorite, poopouri in the bathroom! Forgot my nightlight but no worries as many socket covers were nightlights. Also, owners live nearby and were super helpful. The house includes passes to the lake and has rental kayaks; however, we were in the area to visit friends so we didn't take advantage of this perperk. I would highly recommend both the home and hosts especially if you're looking for a lake getaway close to trails.
