Hi and welcome to this great city of Seattle and my lovely house ready to make you feel at home away from home.

This stunning house is nestled in a safe, quiet neighborhood that is centrally located and close to tourist attractions such as Downtown Seattle, Green Lake, University District, University of Washington, and etc. From Northgate station you can take a quick 15-min train ride to Downtown Seattle.

This house is a great place to stay with your friends and family where you are mins away within the bustling city and yet you can enjoy tranquility and peace with your loved ones.. Easy access to North Gate mall/station (12-min walk), Downtown Seattle (15-min drive), Green Lake (4-min drive), University Village (10-min drive).

The space:
I try to put lots of character into my house using ergonomic and beautiful sets of furniture and décor. Please be respectful of the property and things inside the house. There are two air-mattresses that can be used upon request if you are having more than 8 guests.

Sure, eating at the finest restaurants can be fun. But sometimes we all need a nice home-cooked meal, right? That's why our kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you'll need to cook you and your family a nice dinner.

This property is a 100% NON-SMOKING (both inside/outside) and PET-FREE house to ensure utmost cleanliness. Any guest in violation of the smoking/pet policy will be charged $500 for deep cleaning the house.

The house gets professionally cleaned with strict cleaning guidelines each time guests check out.

Clean and comfortable

The house exceeded our expectations. It's an older home without a lot of bells and whistles. But it was impeccably clean, with comfortable beds, and a kitchen stocked with the dishes and utensils we needed to prepare some simple meals.

Spacious and comfortable

This house had plenty of beds, beds were comfy and smelled nice. Kids loved the basement for gaming. The house was clean. Nice neighborhood, one of the neighbors brought us plums from his tree. Has a good washer and dryer. Kitchen was fully stocked .

Family house

We had a nice stay at this house. Everything worked and the air conditioning was great! Kitchen could have used a few more dish cloths and dish towels. We wanted to clean after ourselves but could not find cleaning supplies. Backyard was not how it was represented in the pictures. But all in all, a good place to rent!

Great Stay in Mapleleaf Neighborhood

The house was exactly as described in the photos. Our group of 5 adults and 2 teenagers were very comfortable and had plenty of seating in both the living room and dining room. The property was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and we were well located. LJ communicated responded promptly to all communication and check in/out were very easy. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Perfect place for our family gathering

Good location. House was in nice shape for the age. Limited parking and older furniture but nicely decorated. Really enjoyed our stay and the host was terrific to work with.

BEWARE

Our party was very disappointed in our stay at this property, we had a big group of 11 adults. Shows that it sleeps 14 and this is not at all accurate, it sleeps 8. In the description of the "rooms & beds" it shows there are 3 double futons which in reality is three couches, 2 can sleep one adult and the other isn't even long enough for an adult to sleep on. Not to mention there are no extra pillows or blankets for these double futons. Owner indicated that VRBO doesn't provide an option for couches when listing the property so he used the next closest thing, probably because VRBO like myself doesn't consider a couch a bed. My 75 year old mother had to sleep on a couch. He also charged us extra for the 3 people we had that was over 8 people, so not only did we have to pay more for a property that lists that it sleeps 14 we paid extra to sleep on couches and blow up mattresses one of which went half way flat by morning. Just beware when booking this property its misleading, if you have 8 people it will work great for you. Should be listed as sleeping 8 people! The space of the house was small for any more than that.

Seattle weekend getaway

My party and I absolutely loved this house! It has so much character. The beds and couches were clean and comfortable, and we loved the location...only about a 6-7 minute walk to the light rail. The host LJ was incredible and answered all my questions.

The location is perfect within walking distance of the train station. The neighborhood is beautiful. Easy check in process, kitchen fully stocked. Highly recommended.

Memories Made

Great location! During normal traffic it took about 10-20 minutes to get to all the stuff we had planned for our stay. Woodland Park Zoo was super close. The owner was awesome and responsive (answered text within minutes and was really friendly). The house served it's purpose and was a comfortable spot to come back to after a day of exploring in city. We would definitely come back.

Lovely Maple Leaf home

This is a lovely house in the Maple Leaf neighborhood of Seattle. Terrific amenities- loved the coffee and wine waiting for us. Quiet street, easy parking. Walk to light rail- although it’s down hill to get there. Up hill to get home. Near great restaurants, coffee shops, and Greenlake Park. Comfy and cozy!

This house has plenty of room and great proximity to the Seattle Northgate area. The deck and large backyard would be great in warm weather. Parking is tight. I didn’t feel confident pulling my rented Dodge minivan into the narrow driveway. There was parking in front of the house - two cars would be a challenge. Overall stay was as advertised, communication with host was very good.

Nice space

The online description was very accurate. The host was fantastic about communication. The kitchen is well stocked and ground coffee is provided which was a wonderful perk (pun intended). The house was very clean. There are lot of stairs but for us that was not an issue. The separation of spaces that the 3 floors provided was great. This house is located close to light rail and transit so it is easy to get around. The neighborhood is safe but the area has places that are not visually appealing. The lighting in the living room could be brighter and the electric outlets in the living room do not accommodate a 3 prong plug so computer charges etc cannot be plugged without a convertor. There are 3 prong plus elsewhere in the house. We would definitely stay here again. It met or exceeded all our needs.

Well Kept Home and Property

Check-In was easy and hassle free. Getting in touch with the home owner was easy as well and he responded quickly. Home was clean and well kept. Driveway was pretty small could not fit a Tesla Model Y in there comfotably without the doors hitting the walls and unfortunately there was a winter storm that blew thru and there were no extra blankets to bundle up.

Overall very nice

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is clean, nice location, quiet, and has most everything you need. Our only complaint is that the listing says it sleeps 12, but realistically there are 3 queen beds and 1 king bed sleeping 8. The other 4 are 3 couches and a crib, I guess (couches are not hide-a-beds and there aren’t really linens, blankets, pillows). So be sure to plan your group size accordingly or check with the host ahead of time.

Great Anniversary Getaway

My wife and I spent a week at this site for an anniversary getaway. The home was spacious with accessible laundry, a great kitchen, comfy couches and warm beds. It was a bigger house than I anticipated from the listing and could have accommodated 8 without difficulty. The owner was great at communication throughout our stay. We rented a car and parked out front of the house. There were coffee shops and stores and restaurants in a very short drive from the house. This was an easy 15 minute drive into downtown, but also easy to get to hiking trails and more. If we are in Seattle, we would stay here again.

Fabulous House - Fabulous Owner

The location is great! It is just a couple of minutes from the light rail station at Northgate. The house was very clean and the home and furnishings were recently updated. I needed to contact the owner about a couple of things and he was very responsive!!! I would gladly rent this space again!

Great stay

House was lovely. It has everything we needed. There is no ac as the listing stated but most homes in seattle have no ac. Owner changed the listing to reflect no ac. Owner was very responsive and we had a nice stay. Parking is very limited. We had a suburban and could not park in the driveway as it was too big to fit. Nice neighborhood clean house we enjoyed ourselves.

Great stay!!

The house location was perfect for our family. Whether we drove to downtown and tourist attractions or take a quick light-rail trip throughout Seattle, it was all within 15-20 mins. The house was also amazing itself. For a family of 8, we had so much space in this house and the decoration and furniture quality of the house were superb! I will definitely come back to this house when I am back in Seattle.

We store a clean and sturdy pack n' play portable crib along with a highchair in the house. I know it can be challenging when traveling with your small ones due to so many things to pack. To relieve burden on my guests, I have prepared this crib and the highchair for you. It is two less things to worry about :) Let us know that you'd like to use them, and we will have them set up for your family.

Please feel free to use the full-size washing machine and dryer to wash any dirty laundry.

Help yourself with unlimited coffee and start the day right. I stock up 100% Arabica coffee for my guests.
