Rancho Puerta Roja is a former horse ranch with two unique dwellings - The Loft and The Cabin - on 2.5 acres surrounded by mountain views. It's a perfect, pet-friendly, quiet retreat but still only 15 minutes to The Plaza, museums, hiking, Meow Wolf, and historical sites such as Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu.
The Cabin is a perfect place for our kids to live while going to school, with just enough room for us to visit and work whenever our schedules allow.
The Loft is a newly renovated Quonset hut with a full kitchen, all-new stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer, modern decor, and convenient smart home features and automations. (For example, "Alexa, set the house to bedtime mode," will lock the doors, dim the interior lights, turn off the patio lights, and (optionally) arm the security system.)
If The Loft doesn't have guests when we're in town, it's our preferred place to stay with our two senior Cocker Spaniels. It's a perfect space for two adults and our fur babies.
