(Comfortably sleeps a party of 2. We allow up to 3 guests. If you have a party of 4, please ask permission in advance. The couch bed is more suitable for children than adults.)

This 2nd floor "get away" vacation home is on one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!

Unit #239 is a 2nd-floor unit on a corner that allows additional sunlight because of the extra window. It has a great ocean view! It also has a nice tree off to the left that shields the unit from the lobby building and walking path for added privacy.

The following is provided for your comfort: High efficiency Fujitsu A/C; all necessary kitchenware including silverware and glassware; all necessary linens and towels (both regular and beach); free Internet (wired) included; flat screen TV; small fridge (there are two ice machines on property); microwave; DVD player; electric hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. Let us carry you away with ocean breezes and the beauty of the Garden Isle in comfort in 239! You can BBQ poolside or enjoy stunning views of Waipouli Beach and the pool from the comfort of your lanai.

239 is in a breathtaking location on the Garden Isle. Enjoy easy access to a number of Kapa'a's biggest hot spots, such as Smith's Family Lu'au, Fern Grotto and Wailua Falls. You have the opportunity to relax in a resort-like setting with a beautiful, beachfront location while you to soak up the Hawaiian sun.

Please note there is no elevator on property. We offer free parking for our guests. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.

Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar. This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service. If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If Guest does not check out at designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.

*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways. A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.

*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

*IMPORTANT: The standard number of allowed guests is 3. If you wish to add more guests to your trip, there is an extra person fee of $30 per guest beyond the standard allowed guests.

If you think there is a chance you will have to cancel your trip, please consider purchasing trip insurance from the company we recommend (Yonder Insurance) and mention Kauai Vision Rentals sent you. Yonder gives back with every travel insurance policy sold and was started with a social mission in mind. "We will feed a hungry child for a week with every policy purchased." Providing meals for kids in Nepal and Burma. As Yonder grows more meals are provided to these remote places.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. General Excise and Transient Accommodation taxes are collected and transmitted to the State of Hawaii on all rentals.

Great location - Beautiful grounds - Below Avg Room
Great location and wonderfully groomed grounds. The room though was substandard. From modem speed internet (used the open Aston Wi-Fi instead) to sub pillows, old filter type coffee maker and the old key holder fortunately worked. Small things, yes, but easy things to fix. Room looks like its easy to maintain but wasn't met to be comforting to guests. About sum's it up.

Would be nice to have a hot plate to be able to cook a bit but otherwise room was as listed. Location can’t be beat. Pool bar was excellent & happy hour was great ! Very good Mai Tai
