Sunset Deck is waterfront and overlooks the Gulf of Mexico

Sunset Deck is a two bedroom, two bath vacation rental condo in the fifteen unit Sea Horse Landing Condominiums. Sunset Deck is unit 302 on the second floor of building 3. We are a fully furnished vacation rental condo with outstanding views from the great room and balcony of the open western Gulf of Mexico. Sunsets over the Gulf are spectacular.

Sunset Deck has a shared swimming pool and a shared dock.
***Currently No Dock: Shared Dock was destroyed by Hurricane Idalia, the homeowners association does intend to have it rebuilt but at this time we are not sure of a completion date***
We encourage kayaking. Launch your kayaks from here and all the islands of the Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuge will be yours. So bring your kayaks or have some dropped off for you . The sandy trail through the mangroves provides access to the water.
This vacation rental is spacious and accommodates four guests. We have two baths, laundry, kitchen, dining area and living room, spacious balcony with rocking chairs overlooking the Gulf.


Everything needed for a relaxing vacation is supplied for you; bedding (king in the master and twins in the guest), linens, towels plus kitchen supplies and appliances including dishwasher and disposal.

We are conveniently located only a short walk to all the restaurants and shops and city park beach.

All seasons in Cedar Key are Florida type with hot summers and mild winters. Palm trees are everywhere and you're never far from sand and water and tides.

When considering Sunset Deck for your vacation please be informed that parking is very limited here. We urge you not to bring boats and trailers unless you have some place off property to store your trailer. There is very limited space for only two small trailers and they are first come, first served. There is ONE designated parking space for Sunset Deck 302 and perhaps five undesignated spaces shared with everyone else.

Sea Horse and Sunset Deck is a small quiet facility where everyone lives close and respects one another’s privacy and peace and quiet. We strive to keep the place peaceful and uncrowded. Help us by limiting to four the number of guests in our condo. Thanks for your help.

Enjoy our abundant sunshine and the every present and changing tides of the Gulf of Mexico. Swim in the waters on our offshore islands. Rent golf carts and kayaks and bicycles. Dine in the restaurants, coffee shops and trendy smoothie shops. And Make Sunset Deck your vacation home away from home.
-Please be respectful of the neighbors and the area you are staying
-Do not trespass on other people's property, this includes docks and driveways
-Please be careful where you park, don't block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic
-Parties and/or events are not allowed
-No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke
-Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal
-$150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit
-Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom
-Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance
-Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout.
-Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if there’s a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more.
-Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
-Please do your dishes.
-No illegal substances allowed on premises.
- Primary renter must be at least 25 years old or active military.
- ESA and service animals require documentation and adherence to our policies.
- Do not set the AC below 72° or heat above 78°.
- If there are kayaks or bikes included in the rental, use these responsibly, following all Florida regulations. Not all units under management include kayaks or bikes, please reference the listing to see included amenities. You confirm you are trained in the use of kayaks and bicycles. You are responsible for any damages or injuries resulting from their use.
