What can I say... the condo is located on the 12th floor with partial view of the highway. It is loud in the condo when the windows are open. The at least 1 or 2 elevators in the building are constantly broken. I was constantly using the stairs. At 5am on Christmas someone pulled the fire alarm and we had to wake our kids up and start evacuating with the rest of the people. The walls are very thin between units. One of the nights someone in one of the units were arguing, swearing, threatening, punching so hard that it was terrifying.
There is a nice pool downstairs. You have to make sure you wear wristbands otherwise the staff gets really upset. You would see them arguing all day with vacationers. If you don't have a wristband you must leave. Those that would argue about it would be followed to their unit and then reported to the owners.
The unit itself is old; the kitchen is not very convenient for cooking. There are no oven cooking pans. There are no beach towels or a beach umbrella. The dishwasher was broken for half of our 10 day trip. The host only replied to 60 percent of the time. When he replied he was courteous.
The building does not have heat. We stayed in December and the nights were freezing. There are only 2 light comforters in on the bed and 2 extra light blankets. The pillows are cheap and not comfortable.
The bedroom light and ceiling fan were filthy (black dust) and did not work the whole time we were there.
At the end of all this the host decided to charge us without our consent an additional $100 for 2 15 dollar towels that he said we stained. To be clear they were stained previously. We will of course dispute the charge.
There is parking with the unit, we arrived one day and the host was parked in the spot. I called him and waited till he moved his car.
