Kitty by the Sea | Great Fishing from Redfish Bay

Come stay at Kitty by the Sea and enjoy sunrises, fishing, dolphin viewing, and bird watching from the large back yard overlooking Redfish Bay. Relax on the deck and watch the boats go by on the Intracoastal Waterway. The fishing is excellent with two 1000-watt sport lights, benches, and rod holders. A fish cleaning stand with electricity and water is off to the side for your convenience.

Kitty by the Sea is a 2-bedroom, 2 bath house that sleeps up to 6 people. The large coastal themed living and dining area have floor to ceiling windows that give you beautiful water views. There's a large TV with cable and a DVD player in the living room along with multiple comfy couches and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. The primary bedroom has a queen size bed and a private bathroom featuring a garden tub (no jacuzzi) and separate shower. The nautical themed second bedroom has two double beds. Also sleeping for two more in the living room on the pull-out sofa bed. There is also a second full bathroom.

Meet the Homeowner! When Dawn first went to look at the property, before she even went inside, she saw dolphins jumping on Redfish bay behind the house and was hooked. She loved the excitement of this bay with all the fishing boats and barges compared to the calm, quiet Copano Bay. She named it Kitty by the Sea because she thought it was in City by the Sea but later found out it was in the Palm Harbor/Bahia Bay area. She was already hooked on the name, so it stuck! After the hurricane the house had water damage but structurally everything was sound, so she took that opportunity to completely gut and remodel the house.

Kitty by the Sea is located on Redfish Bay & the Intracoastal waterway across from Estes Flats. This south Rockport home is just minutes away, by boat, from the best fishing Aransas and Redfish Bays have to offer. If you don't feel like boating you can just cast a line out into the Intracoastal from the lighted fishing deck to catch trout, redfish, flounder, sheepshead & black drum. Downtown Rockport is only a short drive away where you can enjoy great restaurants, museums, and the beach! You are also close to Port Aransas where you can enjoy a day relaxing on the beach and fishing on the island.

Nice small home on the water

We loved the place, all the fishing lights were working on our stay and while we didnt catch any keepers, it was nice reeling something in. The back porch is a good spot to relax and watch the boaters pass by. The bbq pit is a good size and there’s absolutely no reason to leave the home unless you want to. house was perfect size for our 5 plus our pup.you’re in between rockport and aransas pass so there is plenty of dining options in both directions. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall we had a great vacation. Only thing that we were disappointed about was that only one of the fishing lights was working, all other lights at the dock were not working.

Needs some repairs

The view is beautiful. The house was decent but it is rented by a corporation and is in need of some repairs. Listing says there are fishing lights on the dock but they did not work when we were there. The beds are in need of replacement. The bed in the master bedroom is so squishy that you sink into the center if there are 2 people. The beds in the other room are hard. Pics show a jetted tub which is there but it doesn't work. The washer and dryer are so old they are rusted and the washer didn't seem to be spinning the water out of the clothes as much as it should. Washer and dryer are in the garage. Would be a nice place if the problems were fixed
