Beautiful open home that has a large living area that is open to an amazing kitchen with a stunning view of the water. Sunsets are breathtaking from the huge back patio. Sunrise from the front deck is the best way to start the day.
The home has a charcoal grill for the guests use during their stay. There is also an outdoor shower perfect for washing a day at the beach off your skin. Patio furniture on the deck and down by the grill make for additional gathering areas.
Each bedroom has its own full-size bathroom, and each bedroom has very comfortable beds. The home is beautifully appointed, elegant decorations yet every turn makes you feel truly at home.
The Pointe West Community is secluded and is the perfect quiet beach getaway.
A short 30-minute drive puts you in the center of historic Galveston. You can tour mansions, walk The Strand, see the cruise ships arrive and depart, go to The Pier amusement park and so much more!

WRISTBAND POLICY
The Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. This is a onetime fee during your stay, not a daily fee. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. Your reservation will allow you to receive a temporary band to enjoy this business amenity.

Beautiful home on quiet culdesac

The home is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook your meals. Even had plenty of paper products to last the week. We spent a lot of time playing cornhole and ping pong. Loved sitting out on the balcony to enjoy the bayside view and sunsets.Overall, the home was very clean and beautifully laid out. The property managers were very responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend

Spacious family stay

Our family of 6 (4 adults, 2 children) enjoyed our stay at this spacious and well equipped family home. Several areas inside and out for everyone to hangout, kids loved the cornhole and mini putt set. Property managers were extremely helpful and responsive. There are a few other rentals in this area in case you need an additional home for your family/friend trip. We had a few other family members staying nearby in their rental and it was great when they came over for dinner to easily fit all of us around the dinning room table and at the bar with stools. Would suggest having a car to get to the beach club if it is hot out, little under a mile walk. Grateful to had such a lovely trip with our family while being comfortable with our stay. Thank you!

Short family getaway

Even better in person!

This property is gorgeous!!! It was extremely clean and well stocked upon our arrival. My children and I had such a wonderful time we extended our stay! Linda was incredibly helpful and made extending our trip a breeze. We loved spending our days in the lazy river and then coming home to dinner on the backporch. Evenings were filled with corn hole, ping pong, crab hunting on the beach and jumbo connect 4. We can't wait to return and make more memories!

Wonderful Stay

We had the best time at this house! It was beautiful, peaceful and the location was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed and was very clean upon arrival. We definitely plan on going back next year!

Great Stay

Loved the location on the bayside. Peaceful and quiet. We rented a golf cart to get to the beach and the pool. Mattress in primary bedroom was phenomenal. Kitchen was well stocked and the house had everything we needed. We were honestly surprised the house was a rental property with the nice appliances, utensils, etc.

Great weekend

The only downside was the mosquitos! They were horrible! But the house is amazing, clean, and great views. Everything worked great. Would recommend!

Excellent Stay!

Beautiful house, clean beach, awesome community pool! Best time, the kitchen is amazing. Rooms are great, good beds and best shower in the master room. Great time! My 83 year old mother and 8 year old son enjoyed it!

We had a great stay and would book the home again. We really enjoyed the secluded location and all the home had to offer. The property manager was very helpful and accessible. Hoping for a barbecue pit next time around. 🕶☀️

Peace on earth

This was, by far, the nicest VRBO we have stayed in. The location was tranquil and beautiful. The location on the bay was away from the crowds and the marsh area provided us with an opportunity to see many beautiful birds. Who knew there were flamingos in Texas??? The house was exceptionally appointed and had more than we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Beautiful and Clean Bay Home

We stayed here with our family of 5 and my husbands parents. We have stayed at Pointe West close to 10 times now, and this was one of our fav houses. It was super clean. They provided toiletries and soap/dishwashing soap/laundry detergent/spices, etc, which is rare. They had beach toys for the kids. The kitchen was loaded with all the pots/pans/utensils you might need. We rented a golf cart, which made getting to the beach and clubhouse and lazy river a breeze. Easy walk to the bay. James was very prompt at responding. Only thing that surprised us was that they didn’t have a grill (so we bought a tiny one from Walmart so we could cook our lobster and steak fav beach dinner) — they don’t advertise that they do, but they also don’t make it clear that they don’t. Would stay here again!

Best place we’ve stayed in Galveston

We are two families with a four and five-year old and had an awesome stay. Despite not great weather, we still made it to the beach and enjoyed all of the amenities of the beach club. The house was very clean, well appointed and comfortable, and the outdoor space was still enjoyable (both upstairs and downstairs) when it was raining. James with Best of the West was readily available for anything we needed during our stay, which was appreciated. We got spoiled staying here and l would definitely stay again!

Great all around!

My wife and I wanted to have a weekend getaway before welcoming our second son later this year. After having a very bad experience with VRBO with a double booking leaving us out of place to stay. We came across this place and it was perfect! The location and how nice the property was/is I don’t think it can get any better. The check in with James was also great and smooth. He was very fast to reply and was very helpful to answer any questions we had. We will definitely try and book this location again in the future.

Something for everyone

Beautiful home with all the amenities. Guys walked right out into the bay and had a very successful day of fishing; our toddler enjoyed all the beach toys and miniature golf set: gals enjoyed driving one minute up the road to access pool, hot tub and easy beach access. We travel often to Galveston and this was a crowd favorite for all ages. We will be back!!!

Wonderful Getaway

It was a very smooth and easy process checking in and out. House was beautiful and well kept. Looked exactly like pictures and just as we had imagined it would look. It is on the far side of the island, so pretty secluded and quiet. However it is far from most restaurants/bars/grocery stores etc. Rent a golf cart!

Beautiful home on the bay!

My family enjoyed our time in this beautiful home on the bay! Not only was the home immaculate and beautifully decorated, but the views from both the front and back patios are incredible and we love watching all the wildlife that enjoy the bay! Our teens enjoyed playing ping pong and cornhole under the covered ground floor. All of this and it’s a short drive to the clubhouse and walk to the beach- which was well groomed and peaceful. We can’t wait to book this beauty on the bay again soon!

Five star Beautiful serene paradise

This incredibly spacious home is beautifully furnished with updated paint and decor. The beds were top of the line and very comfortable. This house reminds me of a five star high end resort. All the necessities with new appliances were in the kitchen and bathrooms. We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful home instead of condos because of the privacy and parking. It was awesome to sit on the deck in the morning drinking our coffee and watching The migratory birds and wildlife in the bay. The sunrise and sunset views from the rear patio and front porch were so restful and peaceful. The beach was right across the street and can be viewed from both porches. We walked over to the beach and the spectacular beach club and then walked for miles on the pristine beach. The next time we come we will try kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing in the bay that’s right next to the house. The word “Selah” means rest and we were well rested when we reluctantly had to depart from this paradise. What an amazing gem! Best VBRO experience ever.
