My family of four plus two teen friends stayed at this Wrightsville Beach property over Memorial Day weekend. The beautifully renovated house is a block from the public beach access and lifeguard stand. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from house to seashore. The house is equipped with chairs, boogie boards, towels and surfboards ... pretty much anything you need for a day at the beach.
The huge fridge, full-size washer and dryer and multiple indoor and outdoor group seating areas make the house welcoming and comfortable. In addition to living basics (such as bath towels, beach towels, toilet paper, and extra pillows and blankets) the owners also supplied many extras (such as dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, paper towels and cleaning supplies) so we didn't have to make extra trips to the store.
Three bedrooms include one bunk room with four twin beds. Tara reached out to offer suggestions for activities and dining and easy directions for accessing the property on our arrival.
Wrigjtsville Beach itself is a great little beach town with restaurants, bars, surf shops and coffee shops. A short bike ride (1-4 miles) added all that and more to our vacation neighborhood. We hopped in the car one day to visit bustling downtown Wilmington (10-15 min away) with shops, restaurants, bars and sightseeing options.
We'll definitely be back!
