This spacious 8/bed home comfortably sleeps 20 people and is located in the Windsor at Westside Resort. Situated in a cul-de-sac and backing up to a nature preserve, the home allows you to kick back and relax in the backyard pool or hot tub in the serenity of nature, with less prying eyes of neighbors. Take a break from Orlando's many attractions by playing X-Box, pool, foosball, and arcade games in the game loft. You can also take advantage of the resort's many amenities.
This beautiful home is located approximately 15-30 minutes from most of the Orlando attractions and theme parks. Open the door to an open concept home with the ability for everyone in your party to gather together with a place to sit. Boasting a 14 person dining table, eat-in kitchen island and a sectional sofa this great room truly is "great." Cook meals in the fully equipped kitchen with plenty of pots and pans and appliances.
Take a step outside to basque in the private covered lanai or take a dip in the pool. There is a basketball hoop for the pool, but the basketballs manage to keep walking away so you are welcome to enjoy the hoop with your own ball. Traveling with young kiddos? Don't worry, there is a baby gate to help keep them safe. Optional pool and spa heat is available for $40/day.
If you've had enough fun in the sun, head upstairs to watch a movie or play in the upstairs game room. We have tons of board games and an x-box with access to the x-box online catalog. Head back in time to the good old days and try your hand at Ms. Pac Man, Galaga and Street Fighter II on the arcade cabinets. Should you need some time to yourself or want to binge watch a show no one else wants to watch (you're on vacation, we're not judging) choose one of the 5 bedrooms with a King bed and television. In fact, all 8 of the bedrooms have a television with cable and/or a roku or fire stick.
In addition to the home, you'll have unlimited access to the Windsor at Westside clubhouse with a restaurant, bar, fitness center, sundry shop, sand volleyball, sports courts, and video arcade. The resort-style heated pool has a lazy river and a water play area for the kids. Be sure to check the calendar to see what activities the resort has on deck for the day.

Parking in the neighborhood can be very tight. Many of the resort neighborhoods have narrow streets with limited parking. We have opted not to convert the garage into a game room to ensure guests have ample parking. Per the community rules, each home is limited to 5 cars.

Windsor at Westside is a resort style community with a restaurant, bar, resort pool, lazy river and water play area. They also have sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, a sports field, playground and fitness center. Not far from the resort you will find a grocery store for all of your vacation needs.
We recommend a rental car during your stay as there are many attractions to visit in Orlando and the price of an Uber or Lyft would add up quickly.
This is a self-catered home. Guests are provided with a starter kit of dish soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, toilet paper, sponges, trash bags, and paper towels.
*Important* Trash MUST be bagged when placed in the outside trash bin. The community charges for picking up loose trash in the trash bin and for leaving trash bags on the curb. Therefore, you will be assessed the $110 fee for placing loose trash in the trash bin. While you will be provided with a starter pack of trash bags, you may need to purchase additional bags for your use. There is a $35 fee for leaving trash bags on the curb.
There is no on site bbq grill and there are limited baby items. We recommend renting a bbq grill and baby items during your stay as these companies are better equipped to provide you with safe and sanitary options. We do not warrant the safety of any baby items in the house as we cannot guaranty a previous guest has not damaged any items.
While the house is regularly sprayed for bugs and pests, please note the home is in Florida so it is possible you will see bugs here and there. Keeping trash bagged and doors closed reduces the chances the home will attract bugs.
Like the majority of vacation rental homes in the area, the home has an electric heat pump for the pool. In order to have a working hot tub, you must opt to pay for pool heat prior to your stay. The fee is $45/day. I promise we are not price gauging you here. This is our average daily energy cost to heat the pool. Note, if the weather is unseasonably cold during your stay (the weather drops below the 50s), the pool and hot tub temperature will drop and require time for the water to re-heat. Pool heat pumps work by drawing heat from the air to warm up the water. Unfortunately, gas pool heaters are not allowed for individual homes in many of the Orlando vacation communities. However, the community pool and hot tub is heated by a gas pump and available during your stay.
Per the house rules, there is no smoking and no parties are allowed at the house. There is a $200 fee plus damages fee for violating these rules. There is also a $500 fee if the x-box gets damaged or goes missing during your stay and a $60 fee for damaged/missing game controls.

Video Surveillance: The Property has exterior security cameras as part of a secured resort community and a ring video doorbell placed in the front of the doorbell of home. This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury, guests sneaking in pets, guests disregarding the maximum occupancy allowed, and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund. The full deposit will be forfeited if any of the above are found. You will also be asked to leave the property immediately without any money returned.
