Welcome to Front Street Proper! Located on the third floor of a brand new building, our open plan apartment provides a perfect mix of privacy and community. With two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, the space is equally well suited to host a family of four or two couples. Bedrooms are located at either end, and the central combined living/dining/cooking space allows for shared laughs, entertainment and conversation. The unit features its own laundry facilities for added convenience.
The Space:
Each of the nine units on the property are provided with one on-site parking space. Overnight parking on city streets is prohibited by city ordinance during certain months. If there is more than one vehicle in your party, you may wish to consider parking the second car in the Hardy Parking Garage (303 E State St, Traverse City) which is a little less than one mile away, and costs $10 per day.
The Neighborhood:
The best part about our apartment is its fabulous location. We are an easy 15-20 minute walk from the very heart of downtown Traverse City, with its eclectic mix of restaurants, nightlife, cafes and shopping. We are also located within a 10 minute walk of two delightful West Bay beaches - Sunset Park, and Bryant Park.
The Traverse City area is home to one of the Midwest's finest wine regions, with both the Leelanau and Old Mission Peninsulas boasting dozens of incredible wineries, many with stunning views of East and West Grand Traverse Bay. As our guest, you're located right at the base of the Old Mission peninsula, with the closest wineries a short 5 minute drive from our parking lot!

Interaction with Guests:
Our primary residence is less than 20 minutes away, so we aren't far away should any needs arise. However, we realize that time spent with friends and family is highly cherished and important - we will respect your privacy.
