You'll love sleeping under the stars in our one of a kind glampground. All of our tents have electricity, heat/AC, comfortable with luxurious bed linens. Amenities include bathroom/showers, stock tank pool, outdoor kitchen, fire pits, wifi, and an outdoor movie screen.
The space
The Starlite Glampground is unique in the central Texas area. Our glampground is home to four safari tents and two bell tents. There is a common area in the middle of the glampground that has a fire pit, volleyball net, horse shoes, ladder ball, and an outdoor pavilion. The pavilion has a BBQ grill and grilling tools, chairs, coffee table, games, firewood, and a coffee bar. It’s a great place to sit in the morning and enjoy the peacefulness with a cup of coffee. It can also host a large group for gatherings, or a band. In the corner of the glampground is the stock tank pool and deck with chairs for lounging in the sun, reading a book, or just simply enjoying the peace and quiet of country living. This deck is also a great place to have an evening cocktail while watching the beautiful sunsets of the big Texas sky. There are heavy duty wheeled carts in the parking lot to help you lighten the load of carrying your belongings to the tents. Our bathrooms (gender neutral) are in close proximity to all of the tents that is home to two showers and two toilets. We have it all for you…shampoo, conditioner, sugar soap, Turkish towels, and other toiletries. The glampground is just that…camping with that hotel feeling outdoors!

Would not recommend

We didnt have an experience like I had hoped for. The ad described a unique get away that was basically a hotel without a hotel. We didnt have an official notice on how to check in so we had to contact the host once we arrived which was fine, just annoying to have to do. There ended up being a discrepency on which tent I had booked when my end of things very clearly said the large tent with two beds. She said her side of things said a different tent which I can understand, mistakes happen. She said we could still stay in the larger tent. We went inside and it was very obvious that it was still dirty from the last guests. The sheets were a mess, the fridge was dirty, the coffee maker had trash around it, etc. If this was the only downfall to our stay I wouldnt have left a 1 star review. What caused me to leave this is the property itself. It was overgrown with weeds, the bathroom/shower had ants from being dirty, the different hang out spots were unorganized and messy, and various furniture was broken. It honestly looked deserted and made me feel very uncomfortable considering I had my 9 month old baby with me. We ended up contacting the host to completely cancel because it was obvious that the space was not prepared for us from multiple angles. The thing that gets me the most is there was no apology from the host given for the circumstances. I would not recommend booking this place.

Nice but needs some TLC

Overall it worked out well and we enjoyed the pool under the stars. However, the property needs some TLC and some upkeep. The tent was excessively dirty and should be cleaned regularly. The linens were clean, which was great, but the bed is very hard and uncomfortable. The weeds have overgrown most of the outdoor spaces but they have a great idea.

Sooooo cute!

Heather was more than accommodating at this property. There we no issues getting to the shopping areas we came for and then came back to relax in this beautiful place. The style was fun an cozy! There were so many places to sit and be comfortable hanging out with my family. She had everything already there that you would ever need on a vacation. The scenery was beautiful and quiet. Even the toilet paper was extra nice! Seriously! 10/10 such a great trip!

Amazing!

We had such a great time despite the rain. The property managers were so great! Very helpful and nice! Everything was clean and it was so fun to have a place to stay with our dog! We will definitely be staying here again!
