The pictures don't convey the full beauty of this property.

As the subject line states, the pictures are beautiful, but they don't convey truly how comfortable, beautiful, and amazing this property is. Furthermore, aside from bringing food and our personal belongings, we needed absolutely nothing, as the owners had planned everything out to the smallest of details. I'm not going to say more, as I want this place to stay relatively hidden, so we are able to book this property again without needing to battle others for a time slot. Our winter getaway was more than we could have asked for. And this was but a taste of what a summer visit to this property will offer. Thank you, so very much. You've helped us escape mediocracy, and rejuvenate our minds. I look forward to returning during summer break. Save us a one week spot (^-^)/!

Breathtaking and Blissful Book Retreat! BOOK NOW!

This was the perfect getaway for my bday weekend! The perfect distance from the twin cities with a relatively short drive, and the house itself was beautiful and well-maintained, indoors and outdoors. The view of the lake was gorgeous, especially at sunrise and sunset but also all the time!!! The space and bedrooms were perfect for what we needed for 9 people, so our stay already would've been 5 stars! *BUT*, Kyle and Tara went above and beyond by leaving a bday gift for me (it was my favorite book!!!) and by dropping off pizza stones when we got there (I asked about cookware for diy pizzas). All 9 of us want to come back some day, this was truly and utterly the most delightful weekend ever!!!!!! BOOK NOW!!!!

New Years Getaway

Had a wonderful rested and meaniful get away with friends for the New Years. Love the view and lake scenery. Location was easy to find and in a good place not too far from the city. The check in and check out process was nice and thorough and the host was responsive. Will definitely consider for future trips.

Beautiful Lake Home

We enjoyed our stay at this home. Our boys had so much fun fishing and going out on the kayak and paddle board. The adults enjoyed the seating by the lake and the screened in porch. This home was so cozy and inviting and it was well equipped with more than you would expect from a vacation home. This was the perfect place for our family's Minnesota vacation!

Husband's 60th Birthday surprise getaway

I can't say enough positive things about this property and its owners! My husband and I had a 3 day weekend stay with our adult children joining us on Saturday and 20 of our extended family members joining us on Sunday for a surprise birthday party and day at the lake. Whether it was just the two of us or the whole group - the home, the yard, the lakeside, the boat...everyone raved abour how beautuful it was and what a wonderful day it was. Kyle was extremely helpful and amazingly available at any time for any questions, both leading up to and during our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and to celebrate! I was able to successfully surprise my husband by kidnapping him and stealing him away from work on Friday, having our kids unexpectedly join us Saturday and then the family party on Sunday. He said the only thing that could have made it any better would have been if the final surprise was we had bought the place! 🙂Thank you, Kyle and Tara!

We are both from small towns in Minnesota and enjoyed spending time on the lake whether it was wakeboarding, skiing, tubing, fishing, or going for a boat ride or a swim. We bought this place so we our kids have the opportunity to enjoy the MN lake life. Being that our kids are big into sports, there are many days that we are unable to utilize the space. We want to provide families and guests the opportunity to experience the lake life as well. When you are there, please make yourself feel right at home, make sure to soak up the sun, and enjoy the water.

Hvorfor verten valgte dette overnattingsstedet

We choose this area for a few reasons. 1) It's in close proximity to the Twin Cities metro area. We did not want to be driving spending a good portion of the day in the car when we could be enjoying the lake. 2) We like the lake for its size and low traffic. The lake is great for both recreation activities and fishing. 3) We like the area. Maple Lake is a small community surrounded by multiple large communities that are 20 minutes or less away. This gives the feeling of being away from the big city, but allows you to enjoy the larger city life.

The incredible views of the lake from inside the house.

The fire pit area by the lake allows families to enjoy bonfires while being about 15 ft. from the lake.

The house is level to the lake with a walk to a patio area that leads right out to the yard and lake.

The 3 season screen in porch are has great views of the lake and allows you to enjoy the outdoors while staying close if you have kids sleeping and want to hear them wake up.

The house is handicap friendly.
