Comprising two individually furnished bedrooms and two bathrooms, this sanctuary offers a harmonious blend of comfort and style. The open-plan kitchen, a testament to modern design, is equipped with a range of amenities, including a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and a Nespresso machine. A centrally located breakfast island, adorned with inviting stools, serves as the heart of the kitchen, fostering a sense of conviviality. For added convenience, a gas stove, a dishwasher and washer/dryer combo are at guests’ disposal, ensuring a seamless experience.

The kitchen seamlessly extends into the welcoming living area, adorned with plush couches and a television with Netflix. Even during power outages, an inverter ensures uninterrupted entertainment, while uncapped WiFi keeps guests connected. A thoughtful touch, an additional plug ensures convenience amidst load shedding.

From the living area, an enchanting balcony awaits, offering panoramic views and enchanting sunsets over Robben Island. This idyllic retreat serves as the perfect setting to unwind after a bustling day, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the captivating beauty of their surroundings.

From the comfort of the apartment's lounge balcony, guests can marvel at the majestic dance of whales, dolphins, seals, and kitesurfers, all against the backdrop of an awe-inspiring seascape. And as the day draws to a close, prepare to witness the renowned spectacle of the sun bidding farewell to the horizon, casting its golden hues over the iconic Robben Island.

The master bedroom, a haven of tranquility, grants direct access to the balcony, offering enchanting sea views. Furnished with a queen-size bed, this sanctuary exudes comfort and serenity. An en-suite bathroom, complete with a shower, basin, and toilet, adds a touch of luxury and convenience.

The second bedroom, adorned with two single beds, shares access to the second bathroom, which is fitted with a shower-over-bath, basin, and toilet.

Immaculate linen and towels are provided, ensuring a restful and rejuvenating stay.

Safety and security are paramount, with two dedicated parking bays available on the premises. Additionally, guests can relish in the use of a communal sparkling swimming pool, offering moments of relaxation and bliss.

Nestled within the highly secure and esteemed Horizon Bay apartment complex, this remarkable haven is separated from the beach by the picturesque beach road. Furthermore, it enjoys a privileged location, within walking distance of an array of over 20 restaurants and bars, ensuring a wealth of dining and entertainment options.

Home Meets Hotel, as well as the owner, do not accept liability for any loss and/or damage to any personal items and/or person for any reason whatsoever. Sufficient travel & medical insurance is therefore strongly advised.

Important Information:
South Africa is currently experiencing an electricity shortage, so there might be periods when you will be without electricity. We call it load shedding and there is an app that you can download to check the schedule in your area so that you can plan around it.

In the event of metered electricity, we furnish the guest with enough units during their stay, however excessive use of aircon or heating systems can result in running out of electricity. Therefore please notify your host when the units are low, to prevent you from running out.

Please note that, despite the presence of inverter systems, generators, and UPS systems in our apartments as well as the apartment buildings, Home Meets Hotel cannot be held liable in the event of any system failure due to prolonged load shedding.

We provide guests with a starter pack to get them going on the first day of their arrival consisting of tea/coffee/sugar/milk/water, basic cleaning detergents and bathroom amenities.

Please take note that we do not replenish these items for the duration of your stay.

To ensure your convenience, kindly remember to bring your personal login details for DSTV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and any other applicable services, as not all apartments are equipped with login credentials. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We provide guests with a fitted sheet and duvet, which will be on the bed as well as a bath towel and hand towel for each guest.

Please note the electricity usage will be capped at the average consumption rate for the apartment.

We can arrange housekeeping at an additional cost. Please make sure to arrange this with your host prior to your arrival. For bookings longer than 7 nights, there is a complimentary mid stay cleaning service which includes a change of linen.

We can arrange an airport shuttle at an additional cost.

We do not have international plugs/converters, therefore please remember to bring your own.

We do not get informed when neighbouring units are getting renovated, therefore if it happens during working hours, we are unable to prevent it.

In case of strong winds, we keep the outdoor furniture inside, however you are welcome to use it outdoors.

We can only recommend and not dictate the furnishing, window coverings (whether too light or too dark), kitchen utensils, cooking ware, cutlery etc of the unit, as this remains the personal choice of the owner.

Please report anything which is not to your satisfaction on the day of your arrival, so that we can address it to the best of our ability as it is our top priority to make your stay with us as pleasant and memorable as possible.

No smoking is allowed in the apartment, failing to adhere to it, the group will be requested to leave the premises immediately and payments will not be refunded.

Due to strong winds, there might sometimes be a bad odour in some of our apartments but it will disappear again, if not, please contact your Host. The wind can also sometimes cause a whistling sound in some of the apartments.

Some apartments are surrounded by restaurants and pubs, therefore take note that there might be noise.

If you are not sure about the square meters of your apartment, please ask your Host.
