With Historic Downtown Fort Walton Beach less than .5 miles away, traffic won't be a concern. Spend more time creating memories and exploring local experiences such as MAAS coffee, the Indian Temple Museum, and Stewbys on the island for lunch! Goofy golf is also right next door, and many other activities are within 2 miles from this location. Relax and enjoy this home and the lovely Gulf of Mexico. The Fort Walton Beach - Destin Airport (VPS) is only a 15-minute drive away, and downtown is just a 5-minute drive. Cross Brooks Bridge, and you're on the island! The best way for guests to get around when staying at 116 Alder Ave would be by car or using rideshare services like Uber or Lyft. Other Things to Note:
Although children are allowed in the unit we do advise all parents that there are no child proof mechanisms in the home. There’s no outlet covers, and there maybe some reachable chemicals. Please child proof the home during your stay. Also please make sure children are accompanied up and down the stairs. Do not run up and down the stairs, use with caution while holding rails. While visiting Florida please be mindful we do have tropical bugs — mosquitoes, palmetto bugs, wood roaches, no seeums, etc. While we do actively treat for pests you may encounter a few critters during your stay. If the doors are left open, you will most likely allow these creatures in the home. As much as we’d love a critter free home sometimes it’s just not possible. Let us know if you’ve encountered anything that may alarm you!
